You are obviously too cool for the crowd I run with. Greenland suits you well.

Outside of Willets in Napa, I would agree. However, I don't believe that was topic we were discussing.

Too cool for me as well I guess. I thought the Empire Tap Room was great. Even though it was a bit out of my way, I would often stop by there on my way back to Sacto from Los Gatos. I loved the vibe and always interesting tap selection.

I fully support this statement! Loved both those brews.

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there the night before our wedding. Great spot. They will be missed.

Only popped in once for a few pints after a gig for work a couple years ago. Was always more of a Moylans fan for some reason. But they will be missed, great burger too!

Oh yeah, I've killed more than a few of those Moylander burgers after hiking on Mt Tam and in Point Reyes.

Went Friday to pay my respects:

    Mt Tam-battered Fish & Chips.

Also had their Cellarmaker Amber lager collab as well.

Although their pub is gone after today, I did read an article that they will still be brewing some Marin Brewing Co. beers at Moylan's, so this may not be the last time we see them.

I have fond memories of Moylan’s Kilt Lifter. When I first got into craft beer, I was thrilled to find out that the liquor store down the street sold bottles of that for $4.99. As for Marin Brewing beers…I’ve had a couple, and remembered enjoying White Knuckle, but don’t remember much about the others. But their legacy includes Cellarmaker which is a pretty big deal. So I decided to check it out before it was gone for good. I ordered a burger with blue cheese, beer battered onion rings, and the Titania Moonjuice BA Stout. Everything was satisfying. A good first and last visit.

Moylan's is still open and still making kilt lifter. I think I even saw it in bombers the other day. Moylan's is like 30 minutes north of Marin Brewing.

I've searched for them out here and have never seen a Kilt Lifter. I missed them so much i looked them up last year on Insta and was glad tocsee they were still open and considered ordering a few bombers

Ya they're completely gone from my area too. I think I saw them in the Santa Rosa whole foods, or maybe at a grocery over in Shasta county. Either way, I should've grabbed it. It's definitely a sentimental beer for me. Lots of roaming around town drinking kilt lifter bombers back in the day
