I’m heading out to Albany tmw, once the storm passes. If I can get out of MA early enough, Saisonnier looks like late lunch and bottle pick up material. Cheers

Damn - Eels / Daisies of the Galaxy - that is something I haven’t listened to for years, but played a ton towards the end of high school / during college. Just got my new hifi set up finished, so I know what I’ll be playing tonight.

    Great write up!

I don’t know what other thread to ask this question in but how are Rushing Duck’s lagers? We’ve officially decided to just stay at my buddy’s house and not go out so my plan is to quickly hit Tin Barn for IPAs and Rushing Duck for some variety. Is that a good idea?

I really enjoy RD and their variety. I did have one lager from them around 2 years ago that that a strange caramel quality but normally I’m a big fan of all their stuff. I would hit Drowned Lands too though.

I've only had Dad Breath. It was fine, but don't go expecting something on Notch/Suarez/Fox Farm level.

I don't want people to start thinking I'm getting a kickback from Drowned Lands, but they'd be my first choice for a pick-up. Right now they don't have any stouts listed but last weekend I picked up: 2 saisons, a Belgian blonde, a Belgian triple and two different IPAs. And everything is clean and delicious.
