Haha, naturally you love that flavor/texture. Seattle is my favorite city in the U.S., so cheers to you and your geographical location. Jeff

I was expecting a little more from Narwhal. I can't put it up there with my personal favorite stouts, but it's still good. It was also a little hot. I'm extremely anxious to see how it ages. I have a feeling it will age with the best of em..

I'm not a fan either. Too many better options out there.

NYC is still Narwhal-less. Wish I could join the discussion

This is how I feel about Weyerbacher Heresy.
    I absolutely love Insanity though.

I enjoyed Narwhal, but it showed its alcohol too much for my liking. I won't be drinking anymore fresh.

I can see why you would want to like it, because for many it is a great value in the imperial stout category. But if you've tried four and haven't come around, I would just drink some of the other well-priced imperial stouts, namely Old Rasputin and Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout.

I love Heresy, but do concede it's pretty thin.

Its okay not to like a beer that others do. You are not missing anything.

I've never seen it. And if we haven't seen it yet, we're probably not going to. Admittedly, I don't get downtown to check bottle shops often, but I looked at D's and I checked while I was at Fatheads.

Really? The only comparison to Pt5th I can come up with for Narwhal is "nowhere near as good as, but cheaper". Maybe you should stay away .

Well he did ask for specific examples including bottle date variance and temperature consumed.
