What beer are you drinking now #3436

Back from a bike ride so time for a beer. Starting with The Veil - the motive. I thought this was a DIPA but its a sour ipa with peach mango and vanille added. This stuff doesnt taste like beer at all. Fruitjuice with foam I would call it. Not bad but next time I will read the label better . Cheers

 

Expanding my New England tasting lineup from a couple of days ago by adding another juggernaut, and this time it's an actual NEIPA (in fact a NEDIPA): Tree House King Julius. What a delicious treat.

My taste buds will probably need a break for a little while after this session.

 

Up next is a real beer 8)

 

Happy Friday BA's....we made it! Overtime, laundry, 2 mile run (woo-hoo, 1st one since leg surgery) done, 4Runner washed, time for a Neon Beer Hug IPA.....

 

Wow, another slow start to the virtual bar day! Haha! Must be all those green leprachauns!

Enjoying this nice local brew - only have 1 left, need to make the 6 mile run to the Thirsty Dog Taphouse and snag more of this nectar!

Lagunitas Willettized 2020 while tidying up around the house. While still very good it's time has come in the quest to continue purging the oldies. It's warming up nicely outside after yesterday's snow. Perhaps a brewery trip later this afternoon? Cheers....

Decided to grill a burger and a half for lunch.....his and hers, and mine isn't the little one. Got a couple Heady's left from our last trip north. It goes great with grilling, since we don't get Hamm's here.....sunny and 88 today, I'll take it!

 

Hello there Advocates. Just finished another short n sweet 4.25 mi run this morning. More of a jog as it's colder today than yesterday so more clothing. Very awesome nonetheless and I'm ranchin' with this fun water: Wabasha West Side Popper Jalapeno Cream Ale. 6.1%ABV 12IBU so quite malty & smooth with a groovy smoked pepper backdrop. Absolutely smashing! Cheers & keep on smiling!!

I remember when Magnify was new and this was one of their first beers that really grabbed me. Now? It’s still quite good, but it doesn’t have the same “wow factor” that it had for me five years ago. Admittedly, that likely says more about me than the beer itself. Still, it’s quite good. B+/A-.
