NBS BIF #15 Hints and Hauls: Was it Over When the Canadians Bombed BIF #14? HELL NO!

First actual official and surprisingly useful (but unsurprisingly indecipherable) hint:

1. 2015-09-24: @2beerdogs reviewed Alewerks Brewing Company - Bourbon Barrel Porter (BBP), from USA: Virginia, rating it 4 (rDev=-6.3%)

 

First hint - Technically I'm shipping west.

 

Well, on that date I rated Sixpoint 4Beans Baltic Porter and gave it a 3.99, with an rDev at -3.6%. So,…. I got nothing.

 

Time for your irregular, unrequested, and unreliable dose of BIF data!

I did not include any new reviews from anybody after @Roguer's second beer yesterday, but I decided to dig into our collective most popular style: American IPAs. I count 5,731 of them. I broke it down by brewery (but cut off any brewery with fewer than 12 reviews from BIF participants):


Sierra Nevada crushing this category didn't surprise me at all. 134 reviews or ratings from us in this style category from them. But, Bellwoods being in second place with 76 surprised me a bit. When I looked into this, I discovered it's because @Coronaeus has reviewed 67 American single IPAs from this brewery!

So, if you see my first entry on this weeks NBS, you'll see that I thought the beer was very suboptimal. My question is: should I save a can to send to my target, for science? To get the opinion of someone at least 999.9 miles away from the brewery?

Trying to get a few hints that could start to make sense.
Hints:
I am shipping North, then a tad East, and then south. The Bahamas maybe!?!
I have never sent a beer this far nor this close.
My box is going to state, I plan to visit. It is Going to a place that I have never sent a box, or maybe I have.
The box is going on a route closer to where birds go in the Spring time.

 

Just curious, if my Target would like A Fremont beers in their box. I might have a few to send.

 

Hint #1: I am shipping South and East.
#2: The nearest MLB team to my target is not in the same division as the Seattle Mariners.
3: I have physically been in my targets state of residence. (I have been to 29-1/2 states. the 1/2 depends on whether one counts just being in the airport changing planes as being in the state. I generally don't.)
4: My targets state touches a large body of water.
5: The body of water my targets state touches is neither the Gulf of Mexico nor the Rio Grande.

 

Lol. Bellwoods has never met an IPA they want to make twice! They are like the Other Half of Canada. They are also a 10 minute drive from my house.

Well, that is not my recent list, so I am crossing you off as a possible sender.

 

Mostly for my own note keeping (I'm really fucking bad at figuring out clues and shit), I'm gonna start a list here of who I've ruled out as possible senders.

Woemad, Snaotheus, Coltsxxxx are out based on the same/neighboring state policy. Likewise, 2beerdogs and beersnake1, as I suspect CA and WA would be considered the same region, for BIF purposes.

I'ma rule out Roguer on instinct. And, despite threats to the contrary, am not my own target.

That's 7/20, right?
