Hello's come in the form of Benthics and my "Welcome to Minnesota" greeting will be in the form of handing over lots of money in kind.

I’d say you have the same chance of Benthics hitting Minnesota distro as we have here for Assassin bottles showing up in the latest TG drop.

I'd actually say there's a small chance they do get some Benthic. Lots of breweries hold back on limited stuff if they know they're getting ready to enter a new market so they can sprinkle some around. Rev definitely did this with Deep Woods stuff. Also, lots of times you have to wait until a release like Benthic cycles around the next time too. We shall see.

Either way, congrats MN people. Enjoy lots of Fader and don't sleep on Orin!

Double Daisy Cutter included in that MN entry drop, canned March 10th if I remember correctly. Tome canned March 3rd, so pretty fresh.

Chicagoans: Benthic is on draft at Sleeping Village.

Along with a lot of other cool shit.

All this talk about Sleeping Village just makes me want to listen to OG Black Sabbath.

Double Daisy is a one of the rare hazy IPAs I could drink repeatedly and not tire of

I shuttered at this statement. The shocking equivalent would be if in 5 years someone said “Daisy Cutter is the one pastry stout I never tire of.” Just can’t believe in ten years Double Daisy has evolved from an imperial pale ale to being branded a hazy….

Agree. They ruined Double Daisy. It was such a great beer.

They make really great hazy beers on their own. Why they gotta mess up one of their best and change the recipe?

Some people aren’t happy unless they’re mad. We have fresh vallejo, space and Bodem on the shelfs. 3 great west coast ipas on the shelf from 1 brewery at the same time. What other brewery does that. Oh, and plain old daisy cutter. So 4 clear hoppy beers at once. Thanks half acre

I’m with you as one that would never complain about that! Space in distro and that doesn’t make huge news is such a surprise. A legit good beer if ever there was one!!

I’d just prefer they keep making the exact same awesome beer they were making, and if they wanted the change the recipe, slap a different name on it.

The fact that it seems we will not Glactic Double Daisy Cutter again is a real bummer.

Galaxy hops just kind of suck nowadays. Theres a reason we haven’t seen single hopped clear Galaxy ipa in like 3 or 4 years. (I miss Brickstone Galaxy down under so much) And most hazy Galaxy IPAs rely on expressive yeast and a strong hop blend nowadays

For those confused, it’s Fully Saturated Double Daisy Cutter, or FSDDC.
And yes, it’s a tasty brew.

I actually looked for it (but did not see it) locally in Cincinnati. I’m hoping it already hit Binny’s in UC when I come through (or hits by Wednesday), but not getting my hopes up.

    Fully Satched > FSDDC

Fun nickname > another boring acronym, 100 times out of 100
