I’m out for sure. I’m at 40 States which I like to think is pretty good for a resident of Ontario.

Hint #3: As @snaotheus reported, a small handful of our members have contributed to a total of 16 perfect 5.0 ratings. My target is not among that small handful.

I'm also curious, as I much preferred the vibe at the OG location over the Ferm. I liked cozy and dark rather than bright and busy. I wonder if it has anything to do with the situation with Jean.

Also agreed on your milkshake feelings. I've never had a "milkshake" style beer from anyone else that came close to Tired Hands.

No promises, but I'll try! I like you guys, but I don't think I like you guys like five-hour-long-wait-for-beer like. If the line is reasonable, I'm there!

I’ve had PtY (2 years ago, when they bottled it the first time). It’s excellent, but it’s not “wait-in-line-for-5-hours” excellent. IJS.

And I’d guess it’s spendy (that’s coming from someone that has almost no limit on his “beer expenditure accelerator” flux capacitor). Again, IJS.

Couldn't agree more with regards to the classic, Jai Alai. Love that stuff. I remember jumping through hoops to trade for it. Now I find it out here occasionally. Sadly, most of the time I do come across it...it's the white oak- BLECH! What a sacrilege. Why do that to such a great beer?

We have had White Oak up here of all places. Not the same beer at all….

Hey target! I’m planning on heading over to one of the old guard local breweries for their seasonal Bock. Do you like Bock? I haven’t had this one in six or seven years, but I used to think it was rather good. I’ll grab an extra if you like this post.

I think I feel the same. But then there have been beers sent to me by many in this group of people, yourself included, that if it meant drinking said beer, I would wait in that line for 5 hours.

    Cheers!

I have a target question…I can order home delivery from a certain NJ brewery tomorrow. If you would like some barrel aged beers in your box like away.

There was no Mariner game today, so they didn't score any runs today. They didn't give any up either.

The total number of Mariner runs remains at 6.

I don't like MYSELF enough to wait in line for 5hrs to buy myself a beer. In a BIF, that's so far outside the bounds of the call of duty as to be ridiculous.

My dinner beer tonight was another from @JayORear and from a brewery I'd never heard of.

Neshaminy Creek? Yup, that's what the can says.
Poured copper in color, nearly but not quite transparent and capped with a two finger yellow-brown head. This ain't no NEIPA!
Aroma agrees; citrus and piney, resinous hops and malts are featured, all surrounded in stuff I cannot define but smell good.
Taste follows - definitely picking up a WC vibe, the pine is prominent and the citrus plays a comfortably supporting role. Can't really say balanced (Hops definitely rule this show) but I can say it all works very well together.
Feel is very good, too quaffable for my own good. Just enough viscosity to remind me it has a kick.
Really enjoyed this, it seems to me a good version of a WCDIPA.
Thank you Jay for sending it my way!

A tasting interlude in the form of Sip of Sunshine from the surprise box received from one of our generous leaders during NBW BIF 14, @Roguer

This is a beer I have had before. I remember exactly how I came by this beer back in April of 2015. I had just got back from a road trip down to Pittsburgh and had some extra Sunday Morning Stout to trade. I threw it up on a local group and was offered Heady Topper, Second Fiddle and Sip of Sunshine. I jumped at this offer to try some of the Vermont IPAs I’d read so much about. I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve revisited SOS on several occasions since, and have always enjoyed it, and probably enjoy it more now than I did in the past.

Pours a bright copper with substantial lasting head. Light lacing remains on the glass as the beer is consumed.

Floral hops jump out on the nose. Some tropical fruit notes pop out as well. Enticing.

Bright tropical fruit and floral hops envelope the tongue. Solid, welcome bitterness follows.

    Great smooth mouth. Lovely.

This is always a great revisit. A now classic IPA that I will never tire of. Many thanks Andrew!
