It's all good. I have no intention of drinking before 9am LOL. Since they are pouring at 9am when the doors open, I guess I'm set for a post 9am beer/mead/eisbock/Cyser/braggot if I choose to have one that early.

Why would the Catholic church care? :grimacing:

Their Facebook page just said they will NOT be releasing the Raspberry Eisbock this year at the Winter Solstice. Sad Panda.

Sorry to say will not be releasing the Raspberry Eisbock for This winter Solstice. We hoped it would be ready. We want this beer's next release to be perfect. We are going to let it age more.
We do have many other beers bottled and a couple of never before releases.
I will post our final bottle list tonight.

Maybe Raspberry Eisbock will come out in the middle of summer along with the BB Barleywine they forgot to put in barrels.

I'm not terribly disappointed, personally. I hope they release it at sine weird time that does not correspond to one of their big events like the solstice parties or St. Paddy's. Then, maybe it'll hang around for a bit for people to snag without some big cluster.

Also, this will inherently make the party on Friday better. As I said before: Party first, bottles second.

Went back and re-read the beginning of the thread, but just to clarify - this event is NOT cash only, correct?

Without a doubt BBBW and KRE will be released either St. Patty's Day or Summer Solstice party. They never do a random release day anymore.

    Correct-a-mundo dude!

Eh, I guess I'll take it. Should be a little more calm than winter solstice ever is. Well, if it's the summer solstice party, anyway. St. Paddy's would be even more of a mess than it already is. It is one fun mess, though. Love those breakfast brews.

Only going if BB French Toast is there. Chicagoans, you should -all- come.

Highly doubt that will be there, but we should know with a couple days.

They don't remember their mead's being this sought after on release day.

They upped the cost when they switched to the 375ml bottles.

I was told that this would be the standard now.

They're now in 375ml bottles instead of the 187ml bottles before. They're now cheaper per oz/ml but in bigger bottles. I liked when they were in the smaller bottles though.

Only thing I can think of is they fairly recently started using bigger bottles then what was always a smaller bottle format. Can't think of the exact sizes off the top of my head because the only time I purchase mead is for other Ba's but if you check www.kbrewery.com im pretty sure it says.

So KRE, BBBW, and BA Nine have all fallen off the list. Better for my wallet, but a bummer.
