Its like my target is afraid to call me out ... or maybe not paying attention to my hints?

Hint #5: I’m doing a Focal Banger side-by-side “from the can vs from the glass” on the WBAYDN thread, which I’ve done before with Heady. I’m apparently a “from the can” guy (watch it, ya filthy bastages).

As for the relevance to this esteemed group and my target in this BIFfer, I can send a side-by-side-by-side-by-side to my target of beers from my favorite local breweries, because he/she, as evidenced by his//her ratings here on BA, has enjoyed zero beers from these two breweries.

Currently drinking at Paper Street Brewing, which is an odd name for a brewery not on Paper St., but on a farm outside a city of approx. 73,000 mostly boored people.

I guess I can say I'm at my first farmhouse brewery.

Remember this post? Turns out my target is particular about his styles, so around half of that 6er will be consumed by moi.

Ok there may of been confusing if I’m or not.

But I’m in 17 pages to read and up to the task.

But will defend our Commonwealth with @wunderbeer

Last night I had to take off as a friend had a birthday and we had dinner there. But tonight I was able to take in the penultimate of the beers sent to me by @JayORear - TDH Punge
    [IMG]
It started off so smooth and balanced I thought it was something I could have consumed all day. Then by the second half of the 16 oz serving, I noticed the hops didn't stay as mellow, rather like they accumulated and kept hitting harder. Wild and tasty, in a smooth sort of way.
By the time I finished I knew it was a hop bomb.it just took a different, and really enjoyable, path to get me there.
    Thank you Jay!

I can confirm my can stance.

And it is a thing I can barely understand, because I love the look of a beer in a glass.

But I can confirm, the can is the way to go. I've taken the can challenge with Heady and Focal, and can confirm that I can appreciate the can more than the not-can.

    Can you dig it?

Can received in Bif14 by @snaotheus

Saved this for the birth of my third grandson , Hardison Michael WunderLlama who joined the party this Tuesday . A black raven is a heraldic emblem of my Scottish surname . It’s only appropriate that I open a can of Grandfather Raven by Black Raven Brewing

Brewers Notes: 2016 NABA - Silver Medal (Category: Imperial Stout)
2016 WABA - Bronze Medal (Category: Imperial Stout)
2013 WABA - Gold Medal (Category: Imperial Stout)

In the creator role, and in the Raven's role as the totem and ancestor, the Raven is often addressed as Grandfather Raven. With this stately sense of pomp and tradition we bring you our Imperial Stout. This robust black ale is full with rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee aromas and flavors. Stately indeed, but at 9.5% ABV, perhaps it is just a vain attempt to encourage the trickster spirit to act respectably. Released annually in the winter.

    Alcohol
    9.5% ABV

    Bitterness
    75 IBU

    Malts
2-Row Barley, Crystal, Chocolate, Carafa, Roast

    Hops
    Magnum, Mt Hood, CZ Saaz

Pitch black liquid crowned by a two finger brown foam cap . Recedes and leaves spotty lacings .

Aroma is roast malts , whiff of chocolate

Taste is roast malts, char, hint of chocolate

    Sudsy , char taste lingers

    Good stout beer

Hardi is a good stout fellow

@snaotheus is a good beer fellow

I have absolutely no idea what this clue means. Carry on!

I guess I post this here? @WunderLlama sent me this cream ale kinda sorta as part of NBS BIF #14 (which will never die). Jack's Abby - Lil' Cammie's Cream Ale.

16oz can served in a tulip. Dated 1/12/22. Received from @WunderLlama in NBS BIF #14.

Pours a bright clear yellow with a huge head that collapses to lumpy clots. Small amount of active carbonation. Smell is grainy, a little biscuit, some yeast, and honeysuckle.

Taste is light, floral and grassy with a slight earthiness, slight lemon.

Mouthfeel is dry and very light. Overall, it's quite good.

    Thanks, Maynard!
