    Hey all. I was planning on having a buddy swing by FW and grab a few bottles for me but he's a slackass and now they are out.

    Looking to trade bottle for bottle hopefully 3-5. Not sure how wide a distro area either of these beers got. Seems like a real easy and fair trade to me but any feedback is welcome.

    Unless this year is different, Stickee monkey usually sees distro so you should have no problem easily closing this.

    In NY I only saw it as part of the three-pack set. Tavour had it listed for like five seconds before it disappeared. The one I did snag in the three pack, oddly, did not have that super sweet Medjool date flavor like the 2019 fresh. I did a side by side, and the ‘22 was almost identical to the ‘19 to me.

    Hate to call FW beers shelf turds because I remember standing in line for parabola but over the last couple of years, they sit on shelves in this area.

    I went to the Firestone Propagator today and they had about 50 sitting in their walk in cooler as well as plenty of those 3 packs. I didn't capture them in this photo but they were to the left of this . i dont even know why im posting this photo now

    Having been to the Firestone Propagator a few times, typically their beer selection is pretty good.

    Propogator is where i took the picture.

    It's their brewery/taproom location in Venice Beach

    Funny story: when they released DB and Amburana Parabola i was telling a friend,who isn't even that into beer but drinks it( he works at a local brewery but hes a chef) , that i was probably gonna make a trip out to Paso Robles for them. He looked at me sideways and said, "Why dont you just fuckin go to Venice?"

    I didn't even KNOW they had a Venice Beach location till last year

    Oh wow...Ya 207 miles away. Dude saved you some serious gas money. Paso Robles is the main brewery then? That must be where the online store ships from. More good info. Thanks!

    Yes, Paso Robles is the main brewery and the source of their shipping operations. I'm a member of their beer club, and all my shipments are sourced from there.

    Firestone Propagator in Venice has a brew setup, and does some small batches but is primarily a tap room and store/bottle shop. A small parking lot, decent sized store and tap room. Staff has always been helpful, warm, friendly with some decent food. It is not far from LAX and is not a bad drive/ride back to Burbank (BUR) (depending on the day/traffic) either. Not that I have ever taken a detour on my way to the airport....
