    Well, I know quite a few people from Maine (and technically I work there), and they do refer to their state as the "XXXXX of New England" (XXXXX being my home state). I have to say, they're not entirely wrong, especially once you get North of Portland and into the boonies. So far North it suddenly becomes the South.

    Haul Hint: I have completed my brewery research, and I have a solid three boxes worth of beer ready to be packed and sent off. I intend to send at least one box off soon to preserve freshness.

    This is without purchasing any hoppy local beers (local being SE CT and Western RI), any local food, and any brewery swag.

    Oy vey.

    Hmmm, I just realized (because @Roguer posted the clue, I had to look at my target) that my target not only has a repeating character in his BA user name, but also his name *and* the city and state in which he resides.
    That should help a few of you...

    My clerk is a big Purdue fan and she was mortified that they lost to St. Peter's ... its pretty bad TBH. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    All this Fremont talk has me reaching for the back of the fridge for a Fremont spice wars bourbon barrel aged dark star. I had this beer on tap in San Diego and @snaotheus was kind enough to gift me a bottle in Bif14. It seems that @snaotheus was frequently photobombed and it must be something with beers from the PNW.

    Spice Wars bourbon barrel aged dark star 2020 by Fremont

    Brewers Notes: Our Imperial Oatmeal Stout aged in 15 year old single use Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Spice wars adds vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cloves.

    Waxed , capped bottle poured into a snifter, black motor oil , dense creamy two finger brown foam cap , recedes to a ring with spotty lacings. A fragrant aroma of cinnamon, allspice , nutmeg and vanilla wafts from the glass. Cinnamon bark is the primary fragrance. Nutmeg next.

    The taste is cinnamon without the heat, nutmeg, all spice, vanilla . The taste of cinnamon and nutmeg linger in the aftertaste.

    Luscious, rich , syrupy mouthfeel coats the mouth. Slightly sweet , no heat
