If you're going to post this, how about actually posting the e-mail?

E-mail is just that LC gets an allocation on the Anchorage collab, 1pp. $60 / 375ml.

    Appreciated.

Hopefully that bodes well for a larger online release.

Fuck me running at $120/750 though. Jesus Christ. That shouldn't be more than MJK. Come on.

That's cellar MJK bottle pour pricing. Holy smokes.

Again, all power to SP because they'll mow through the inventory in seconds at that price. Squeeze that revenue sponge when you can.

Given that the 375ml DB Derivations were $40 on-site I'm surprised it's that much higher

For what it's worth, it was $17 for a 5 oz pour at the draft debut.

Email states they lost 40% of the initial liquid to evaporation which I’m sure influenced the price. They also exclusively used Willett barrels which are probably more expensive than other barrels they regularly use.

Can anyone weigh in on this?

I'm not inherently surprised they lost 40% of the liquid, but I am very surprised it was 40% to evaporation. My understanding is that spirits evaporate quicker than beer, and spirits don't have that kind of loss that quickly to evaporation. Sounds more like problems with the barrels (not specific to evaporation).

I mean Cory said evaporation, but I’m sure it was a combination of factors. A 15% loss per barrel racking is about a 40% loss total. It doesn’t seem that crazy if you look at it that way.

Completely different recipe and based on the limited reviews from when it was on site it is significantly better
