I was gonna say, we need a @beergoot memoir or autobiography with all the random snippets I've got on BA. I also have told him he should open beer themed bed and breakfast.

Clue #4 (I had really hoped to be clever this round and come up with a system but mox nix, stuff happened and much free time went away. so sorry target, I'm trying!)
While technically I am shipping west, I *will* be shipping south.

    Good idea!
I am going to Colorado in May; I will have to see if he's opened that up yet. Think it would be cool to at least stop by.

Alright. I think I’m down to five possible senders. I’ll try to make a guess later.

What is the penalty for not guessing, or guessing incorrectly? Do we send the beer back? Drink it all in one day?

I'm not precisely sure how my porch is still standing - look at the bomb(er)s that it was assaulted with! I think every one of these is on my wants list. I may make this image my desktop so I can just look at it whenever I need a smile.

    Hint # 1
I am shipping to someone who reads this hint.
    Hint #2
I believe my target resides to the south and east of me. More south, or more east, you ask? I really couldn't say at this point.
    Hint #3
I have not shipped to my target before.
    Hint #4
At some point, I will unapologetically lie within a hint.
    Hint #5
One of my all-time favorite television shows was filmed in part in the region my target resides in.
    Hint #6
My target has rated/reviewed a lot of beers. More or less than I have? I'll not say just yet.
    Hint #7
My target's state and/or province was established earlier than mine.
    Hint #8
My target has been fairly quiet thus far. Now, is this an overstatement or an understatement?
    Hint #9
If my target is an NFL fan, the team I (perhaps incorrectly) presume that they would root for is one that is disliked by many fans of the NFL team I root for. OTOH, the MLB team I would presume they root for would provoke no such feelings from most fans of the MLB team(s) I root for.
    Hint #10
Incidentally, I have now finished trolling through the beers my target has rated or reviewed on BA in order to weed out anything I could ship that they've already had. Took me 4 days. Was that because they'rve rated huge number of beers, or because of interruptions occuring due to the usual necessary actions of life?
    Hint #11
What's my target's name? Can't say. But it has a similarity to a late uncle of mine who wrote an alcohol-related column for decades in a newspaper. Said paper was the primary print media entity in the area I grew up, an area I am travelling to today. Later today, there may be some scattered breadcrumbs on BA as to where that area is.
    Hint #11
A few weeks ago, in a thread on the West forum, I mentioned a county commissioner near where I grew up. Said county commissioner was elected due to his being locally famous for having a couple super bowl rings, as opposed to actual expertise. The name of the county he theoretically serves is remarkably similar to a geographical entity at or near where my target lives.
    Hint #12
If you split this BIF into two groups, with members more active on this thread in group 1, and those less active in group 2, my target would be in the latter.
    Hint #13
I don't know if my target has participated in every round of this NBS BIF, but his earliest round was at least as early as mine.

With that compilation of hints I recently posted, I'll set aside posting hints for now and review the hints of others.

I've provisionally eliminated all but four of y'all.

...it's actually not that great of a story, but it does put to rest the idea that the autobahn has unlimited speed limits all the time...I was near Kaiserslautern and apparently got nabbed by a camera (there are speed limits near city limits)...one day my first sergeant called me to his office where I was presented my polizei paperwork...a trip or two the K-Town rathaus, fork over some deutschmarks and that was that...

...and anyone who has driven in Germany before is probably aware of the dreaded 'Stau' (traffic jam)...very frequent occurrences in my experience...but I did take a rented Mercedes up to a 120 mph / 190+ kph once...:sunglasses:

Nice. The last time I was driving on the autobahn (from Bonn to Hamm), I pushed the speed a bit, but preferred seeing the crazy cars flying by. Surprisingly, that wasn't too frequent. Most people were quite conservative with their speed.

I've never been on an Autobahn in anything except a tourbus, and only then as a passenger. In 1998, however, I drove through Montana when there was an unlimited speed limit on the interstates during the daytime. I was tag-team driving a Subaru Forester with my Dad, so the speed wasn't up above 100 (except when my Mom fell asleep and we set the cruise on 105 for bit) due to lacking a performance car. We were driving to the Detroit area to visit my Grandmother. We returned via the Trans Canada.

Does this geographical reminiscing constitute a hint?

    You and me both…

If I’m not mistaking my x-ing out of your name for my daughter’s embellishments, you are still on the list of 5-6…. The Trans-Canada you say?
