NBS BIF #15 Hints and Hauls: Was it Over When the Canadians Bombed BIF #14? HELL NO!

Just got a chance to watch the first couple minutes of the video and given the Hobbs End visual at minute 1:12, I'm officially calling you out.

 

Ever think that maybe @Roguer & @2beerdogs are just using you to be our data analyst, and you don't actually have a sender? No beer for you

I'm too lazy to copy in the other posts where I expanded on the above, but they were something to the effect of:
- the theme of the clues is relevant to the user name of one of our participants
- I added some words onto #6, which now reads "Sound of the drums, beating in my heart. The thunder of guns tore me apart.

I'll now add to hint #1 again, this time by saying "I would walk ten miles on my hands and knees. Ain't no doubt about it baby, it's you I aim to please. I'd wrestle with a lion and a grizzly bear. It's my life baby, but I don't care."

While I enjoy a good hike, I'm ok with venomous snakes not having to be one of my primary considerations when I go on one!

Out of curiosity, how did you find that video with the Hobbs End reference? Were you already familiar with it (seems pretty obscure), or did you Google to find a reference? If I hadn't narrowed my potential senders down to two (which meant I was going to pay close attention to any of your clues) I may not have caught it.

I hear ya… it’s not much fun here in the summer when temperature and humidity are the same number. But western NC is at the top of my list for relocation once I’m ready to give up those 230 weekdays/year. Plus their beer is a lot better.

I was just discussing rattlesnakes while hiking with my Dad in the hills south of my hometown a week ago. It was not quite warm enough there yet for them to emerge, but later on, in spring and summer, they definitely become a factor you have to consider when hiking in central or eastern Washington. They're sufficiently prevalent where I grew up that the whole area is brooded over by Rattlesnake Mountain (local folklore says it's the world's tallest tree-less mountain; I think that's bullshit) and for some time Rattlesnake Mountain Brewing was a thing there (still sorta is, although I wouldn't recommend it). Nevertheless, despite being in my late 40s and having lived all but around 5-6 yrs of my life as a resident of either central & eastern Washington and eastern Oregon, I have never seen a rattlesnake in the wild. Neither has my Dad, who grew up on a farm SE of what was then the city limits of my hometown, and he just turned 75.
Maybe they're a hoax perpetrated by Big Venom.
