    @snaotheus . I didn’t get an official target until later on in the game back in #14. Of course I wasn’t participating that round. Maybe your sender isn’t participating either.

    It seems that the Western Washington contingent has been saddled with very esoteric hint suppliers. I suggest just giving up and waiting for your box. That's the approach I'm taking.

    I've peppered both this thread and BA in general with hints both subtle and broad as to where I grew up. If my target were to harness that information, perhaps with the use of a Karte, especially when considering Hint #11, I think they'd hit paydirt.

    An aircraft carrier, in the waning months of World War 2 received so much damage that it required a complete rebuilding. Footage of it appears towards the end of the Gary Cooper film Task Force. Although legend has it, the damage was so severe that the ship could not be returned to service, the reason it never did was more down to boring USN bureaucratic moves. What was the name of said ship?

    Piggy-backing off your hint (in case @snaotheus still can't figure out where I'm from :rofl: ), my hometown-honoring sandwich delivery vehicle (the Double Nickel! (in my best Stugotz voice)) suffered enormous damage - but not in war. Originally the plan was to repair her and return her to service, but ultimately the damage was so severe that she was scrapped.

    The individual responsible for the tragedy was sentenced to almost 20 years in federal prison - a light sentence in the eyes of many, but ultimately, it turns out you can't charge a dude with domestic terrorism because he's simply (but incredibly) lazy.

    Also, to my target: this will likely not help at all, seeing as you've already eliminated me ...

    ...there were two carriers heavily damaged...both never saw active service after WWII...their names make me think of, er, New Mexico...:sunglasses:
