Zoe. A hoppy amber ale brewed by Maine Beer Company. Not bad but I prefer their IPAs.

 

Love the Hooters! Radio (BBC) would actually play them, which was a nice break from most of the "music" they played

Battle Beers: Utepils Ewald the Golden versus Ayinger Brauweisse:

1) Utepils Ewald the Golden (5.2%): A German-style Hefeweizen from Minnesota with flavors of wheat, bread malts, banana esters, and hints of lemon in the yeast. A full mouthfeel.
2) Ayinger Brauweisse (5.1%): An authentic German Hefeweizen with flavors of toasted German bread malts, German spices, and hints of medicinal spices. Mildly flatter than expected.

Overall, both are good hefeweizens. Ayinger is the authentic German standard, but drank a bit too tame and flat for me tonight. Ewald the Golden had a fantastic wheat and bread flavor, German bread spices and clove, and a full-mouthfeel with a lemon touch to the finish. I know it's not truly German, but I preferred the Ewald the Golden here and definitely worth seeking out if you like hefeweizens.

 

Mortalis Brewing Fos’e Hydra Duece very fruited sour. This beer is a cacophony of smells and flavors. One of the last remaining from the Extreme Beer Box- had meant to share, but that didn’t work out. The beer is a tasty treat.

 

City Barrel Space Dragon DDH Hazy India Pale Ale

 

my first authentic irish red ale. I think Conways irish ale will always be my favorite.

 

A wonderful Vienna lager from Wayfinder. I purchased a single because my dog is named Luna. She steered me right.

 

Yes, there it is. Hamm’s! I cannot wait to see what vegetarian dish you are going to grill tonight.
