Thanks to Rev for bringing back Unsessionable. It's a beast of a beer but it's sooo damn good. And the new label rocks as well. Can you please make this a yearly release? I'll hang up and listen for the answer.

Gravedigger Billy… sneakiest barrel aged beer on the market? It’s ABV is huge for the style, but anyone who loves quality barrel aged “brown ale” would be silly to ignore this. The barrel expression is as good as nearly anything in the program, and it’s still got some sweetness. It just doesn’t have as much super rich, sticky caramel, but it still has an English Barleywine type finishing gravity

 

Last night Revolution brewing launched here in central Minnesota, and it seems to be a hit. My friends never had their beers before, and they are fans now. I hope it takes off here.

 

Picked up and drank my first ever Deth's Tar last night and it was incredible! Also enjoyed the Unsessionable I had.

 

Where is Deth's Tar being spotted? I looked a couple places and found other Rev beers (like Vanilla Deth, wow) but no Deth's Tar.

 

Unsessionable is excellent this year, glad you’re getting it fresh!

 

To judge by my Twitter feed it looks like stores are getting 1-2 different Deep Woods beers (I haven't seen one with three yet). Deth's Tar I picked up in Eagan yesterday but there were only two four-packs left. I saw Maple Jacket (yummmmmmm) & Cafe Deth on the Ale Jail twitter.

 

Good deal! Seems like there is a variety going to different stores. I saw Vanilla Deth, SJ, and Ryeway at South Lyndale yesterday.
