Just confirmed lunch with the wife and some friends for lunch on Sunday at Brighton.
Hoping that there will be some Cormorants left, wife wants hummus, so a win-win?

Yup. Got a round bought for us at Novare of a Human Robot beer.

 

Had the pork hummus bowl last night, amazing! So glad there is finally a food option. Paired well with Gates of the West and At the Cormorants.

 

Also, looking forward to the fancy cocktail bar opening soon in the basement of the old MDC police basement at the speedway (although that sentence sounds I’m making stuff up, it’s for real. Google birds of paradise and speedway)

No, really, it's an actual thing that people genuinely enjoy. I myself have done so.

So, stopped in today for lunch and beers. Hummus place was open and the smoked pork hummus bowl was indeed tasty. They also had a pizza place set up with freshly cooked pies, delicious.

Only “downside” of today was that a bunch of stuff kicked yesterday. No more Cormorants, golden ale, standard, and maybe one or two others - bummer for me, but super happy to see that they are staying busy. Bartender said Saturday may have been their busiest day since opening.

So,I had to “settle” for Tenner and Tmavy. The new batch of Tenner is as good as I remember, and the Tmavy was great as usual.

Looking forward to crowns of Kolsch and liters of Biere D’Alsace soon.
