He's talking about the Maui Brewing's brew pub location at:
    4405 HI-30 Ste 217, Lahaina, HI 96761

New one that just opened in September is called Mahalo Aleworks and should be on your list.

Got back from a week on Kauai the day after Thanksgiving. Not much has changed, but there are a few things:

-Kauai Island Brewing is found at a lot more places on draft around the island. They do crowlers at the brewery, too.
-Kauai Beer Co. still seems like their beers are only available at the brewery in Lihue. They have random bombers to go and they'll do growler fills of any size, but no crowlers. I still think they're the better brewery of the two.
-There's a homebrew operation called Island Time that just did a collab beer with KBC, so maybe the island will have a third brewery at some point in the future.
-Taps and Hops in Kapa'a has one of the better tap lists on the island, even getting limited Maui Brewing draft offerings you won't find anywhere else on the island. They're also a verified Untappd location and keep their tap lists up to date.
-Kohola Brewing from Maui sends cans to Kauai now. I saw them at Living Foods in Poipu and the Foodland in Princeville. They even make an exclusive beer (Pete's Island Wheat) for the Merriman's restaurants.
-The Island Country Market/ABC Store in Kapa'a had a solid selection of limited release Maui cans that I didn't see anywhere else.
-Never saw Lanikai anywhere. I wonder if they've stoped distributing to Kauai.
-Supply issues definitely impacting distribution on Kauai. Lots of empty slots on the shelf.

Street Burger looked like they had a decent tap list, but we didn't go this time. Had a couple Gigantic kegs, looks like they and Taps and Hops are the only places to get them and Breakside on the island.

Back from my trip. Big Island Brewhaus was as good as ever. Malolo Pale Ale is new to me and pretty much drinks like a classic West Coast session IPA. New batch of Red Sea of Cacao is fantastic. The Italian style pils was also very solid.

Back from Maui … the new Mahalo Aleworks is legit! Great range of styles including sours! Definitely worth a visit!

We’re back on the Big Island for 3 nights. This time staying in Kona. So for those flying into Kona the Kona Wine Market (nearby Costco) has a pretty decent selection of craft beer in the cooler. Probably the best I’ve seen on the Big Island. But the hot tip is on Friday’s they get get a delivery of fresh bread made from the Sandwich Isle Bread Company in Waimea delivered by 3pm. After landing at 1 we usually pick up our supplies in Kona and then head over to the KWM before 3 for the bread. The raisin and buttermilk is what we always end up getting. But yesterday we tried the jalapeño cheddar. Man does that go great with BIB Overboard IPA and Golden Sabbath. They do sell out quickly after it’s delivered. Otherwise you’ll have to drive the 40 minutes to Waimea to pick it up at their store. And there only open on Friday,Saturday and Tuesdays. Down the street from them is Big Island Brewhaus. Worth the drive for a mix and match case (12) of the bottles for only $60. You’ll pay $11+ per bottle anywhere else on the island.
    Aloha.

There are some homebrewers on Kauai called Island Time that appear to be working on becoming a commercial brewery in the future. They did a collab with Kauai Beer Co. while we were there in November. Check out their IG account if you're curious. They're making lots of cool stuff.

Any good bottle shops worth hitting on Maui’s west side? I’m down near Kihei, but headed east side tomorrow and wanna stock up. (I already hit Whole Foods earlier in the week, but the selection was meh…). Appreciate the help, y’all!

Whole Foods is as good as it gets for bottle shops on Maui, maybe check out a Tamura's. Just grab cans at Maui and Kohola, and I think Mahalo Aleworks in Upcountry is doing crowlers.

We’re back on the Big Island. Flew in to Kona yesterday. Drove straight to Waimea. We were too late for our usual lunch stop at Hawaiian Style Cafe so we ended up at Big Island Brewhaus for lunch instead. Plus they have the best beers on the island. For those coming to this island do stop in for their beers. It’s only a 35 minute drive from Kona airport and an hour and 10 minutes from Hilo. They still have all of their bombers on Covid prices for only $6. Including Dark Sabbath, BA Golden Sabbath and Red Sea of Cacoa. Got a bottle of each to bring back to the mainland, plus bottles of Overboard IPA for our Pahoa stay this weekend. This is the first time I seen their bottle lineup available for purchase. If you find any of their bottles in bottle shops it’s most likely old and undrinkable. They still use a batch code for their bottle date. Idk why? Aloha brother and sister BA’s. :beers:

The only problem is their hours can really vary due to labor issues. They have been closing on Thursdays lately and sometime another day.

    BIB?
They are closed on Wednesdays & Thursdays. Some of our breweries in CA closes 1 or sometimes 2 days a week. I’m sure it’s because they are short on staff these days. And they are on Hawaii time.

Meh. Not exactly sure what you guys are comparing to, but Hawaii only makes good Pilsners/Lagers. Everything else is below average, and don’t even get me started on stouts/barleywines
