I’m seeing chatter on FB that people who have signed up for the Convocation up to 5 years ago are now getting invites. Me, I signed up last year. Digging deep into the old signups to fill the club.

It is not. Why would 10 BA bottles be an additional $112 dollars over the Non BA tier?

Wording is: The Sky God tier includes 10 bottles of beer total. All of them are tier exclusive wax dipped Barrel Aged Stouts. Sky God tier members will have an opportunity to purchase extras of these beers first come first serve through the leftover sale in June 2022 and also have the ability to purchase the included Crowned Eagle beers during the leftover sale too.

Does anyone know the average bottle pricing for non ba vs ba from Year 4?

a lot of my friends who have never signed up got invited.

i was in the club the last 2 years, but have been priced out this year, i just cant justify it anymore. that said all the beers ive had were good and i still have a few more from this year im excited about.

for those that join you will enjoy the beer, for the sky god tier, its atleast high end barrels used (pappy/btac).

average bottle price was roughly $35 to $45. tho non adjunct ba beers were $22 for 12oz. anyway heres the link to last years lottery

Same here. I think I signed up eons ago and randomly i got an email to join. Still too much for my plasma. I'll stick with my coors banquet.

It’s all just quite strange if you ask me. It seemed to be the one of the most difficult clubs to get into, and now everyone I know (and seemingly everyone on here) got an invite. It’s not like they opened *that* many spots.

It could be because the club is now two tier, with the Sky God having 400 spots (which is current total club number) and I think he said the other tier is a few hundred additional. So the number of memberships has increased by a bit.

The price also went up $100, I think a lot of members passed it on or now split, so I do think a lot of spots were open. Did the second tier ever sell out? I had to chop something out this year and with this one being the most expensive it had to go. If I was a local of SD I might have kept it tho

Good point. Not sure if the second tier sold out, I had no interest in a bunch of non BA stouts. I ended up keeping the membership (Sky God) this year but only because my brother is splitting it with me. Awesome that it's all BA stouts this round

and some awesome barrels, plus it looks like a lot of cool stuff is dropping this year including double barrel coconut convergence, maple maple distraction and give me two purs. all of the regular versions of those were excellent

I renewed for the Sky God tier on the last day. Was on the fence but figured I would've just spent the money on other beer anyways. And being all barrel aged beers helped me make my decision easier. Gonna try for a Moksa Advocators membership next.

How are there so many openings? There aren’t that many membership spots to begin with are there? Did that many people really drop out all at the same time?

Dammit I was going to delete it before 15min but I forgot about it haha oops. I just thought it was hilariously bad timing. I think that’s just a regular segment on the news in SD.

even still I know of air of members who dropped

Maybe there's not that many people that have a grand to spare for a few bottles of beer?
