Having some awesome muscle spasms in my right elbow now. I don't believe I've done anything different lately. Probably something that used to be easy is now killing me...

Anthem Brewing Prophets of Haze IPA

I blame the Wife; she pointed out the $ 25.00 lawn tickets to see AIC in September

It makes me sad when I hear stories like this. Reminds me how thankful I should be that I got to raise my kids to adulthood. It has been a long time but two friends died unexpectedly in their early forties. Both left youngins.

This week's emotional sunset piece is dedicated to @Urk1127 and @tekstr1der, living the high life, like we do here in Wiiscaansin! This beer-art features locally-grown smoked cheese, which is delicious beyond description!

Thanks! The BirdZ Sessions project came about because me and my former bandmate Rich Kneeland wanted to do some recording. Rich typically wrote the lyrics and I wrote the music We knew a lot of great musicians and so we would get the appropriate people to play on a tune There was a lot of contributing musicians including Eric Gulliksen - aka Snake from the band Orpheus.

Here's a tune where I had a friend of mine who was an Air Force jazz band sax player do the solos. I jammed with him in the afternoon that Sunday at the Java Hut in Worcester. Then he came over my house, listened to the tune once and said let's do it. He freaking nailed it on the first take. He's an excellent player, you don't get into the Air Force jazz band if you suck lol, there's lots of competition.

I did all the recording and engineering here in the basement at my humble abode.

I think you have a repetitive elbow injury caused by drinking too many beers at the bar. You can only curl your arm so much without injury!

United has cancelled my connecting flights when I visit my sister in Oregon 3 of the last 4 visits, they put me up up in a flea bag motel overnight, when I check in for my return flights I find that they have been cancelled because I missed my connecting flights to my destination. (They were cancelled, remember). Try Alaska, or better yet, Amtrak

...as I was pouring my adult beverages, I had a visit from some young neighborhood kids selling homemade bracelets to support Ukraine...their 'company' - WIR-E (Wear It Right) is how they're marketing themselves...good kids, great idea...

Wax Wings The Pursuit DIPA. Orange Smarties, ripe valencia orange, orange pith/peel, ripe mango, grapefruit sherbet, some passionfruit, pine resin, vanilla wafer. Top shelf stuff for the style. This brewery makes good stuff across the board, but their hops and barrel program are on another level.

...to paraphrase a somewhat common idiom -- it's not the amount of meat you have, it's how you use it...
