Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I believe that is a 1920s Soviet era cavalry tool used in their breeding program for collecting horse emissions. Cheers!

Anyway, Viking style drinking glass; apparently when drinking out of a horn wasn't high class enough, they used ceramic and glass. One had to finish the drink before it could be set down.
But us modern folk (Most of us anyway) are not as able to guzzle down large quantities quickly and repeatedly (an empty horn was not a good thing!)

What's with the gigantic bottle cap in the foreground? Does that go over the glass?

 

It's an opener/artwork from 1981. Real hefty bronze and steel, and the center of the bottom is a magnet so the cap sticks around. You can find them on Ebay from $25 to $100 plus, some defaced with poorly printed advertising and some engraved.

 

Very cool. Never saw anything like that before.

I believe only half yards now. Bartender said people would break the yards all the time. Not sure if that’s why they aren’t available any more or what.

 

No way. Half yard is the biggest option they have now. Apparently serving someone 3 feet of beer isn’t responsible.
