    I have had very few Austrian beers, but this is an excellent pilsner: very pale and slightly hazy, this is extremely thirst quenching and slightly sour on the palate. The can label advises that this is "Authentic Austrian Pilsner." If so I hope to see more examples. It certainly is unique when compared to the Czech and German examples. Perfect for a hot Florida evening.

    White Elm Oliver Sir Chungus Imperial Pastry Milk Stout, 11.5% ABV. The last of a four. I've got only one more beer in the fridge, finally, and I'll have that tomorrow. I bought too many packs of beers that had to be refrigerated. Now I can whittle down my cellar of BA stouts a bit...

    Atomic Torpedo, West Coast IPA by American brewery Sierra Nevada (8.2%).

    This features an intriguing array of hop characteristics, ranging from fruity and floral over bitter and resinous to more subtle spicy and woody. Dominated by that typical West Coast character of citrus and resinous pine, there's a good, East Coast, caramel malt backbone to this as well.

    I went Mach 9+ today and I'm celebrating. I completed the Darkstar Challenge. After about 6 or 8 tries. My carrier quals are not good. 3 deaths, 6 bolters and 4 wave offs. So far.

    Winning with beer. A couple of new beers my beer man at the Total Wine recommended, Hazy Love and Juicy IPA but Dale's Double kicks their asses.
