a decent amount of them are draft and to be fair, every time I go I’m with at least one other person and I like to check what they got too. mainly for my own future reference if I like it enough to get it again.

doesn’t help they have 500+ beers total lol

Some of y'all really don't know the struggle of the 90 minute drive, constantly refreshing Twitter to find out what was available that day ("Yes! Julius!" or "Oh man ... only Ma?"). Crazy times.

I'm actually really excited for the Tewksbury location. I haven't been to any TH location for a few years now (mostly because of distance/time/oh and a pandemic). I've enjoyed watching the transition into doing classic styles and what I've had from that series, I've liked.

Yep I visited their shed location for just a few growlers A few times and unfortunately one of those times I drove an hour up there only to find out that they had completely sold out of beer. Have not even been to the new location yet. Looks really nice. Would love to get there and Foxfarm this summer

How do the time slots for Sandwich work? It says you must arrive within your time slot. How wide is my time slot? How soon before my time slot do I need to book the time slot? I am thinking of stopping by next week on the way to the cape to pick up some cans to go. It says they are strictly adhered to, but how strict? I can select a certain time, but what if I am running 10 mins late?

Ugh, I drank so much Ma, constantly trying to justify to myself that it was worth the headaches in acquiring it.

    It wasn't.

    Had a can of Aftermath.

Took me over an hour to finish it. It's about as decadent as all their other stouts these days but it wasn't a complete chocolate syrup bomb.

Still, it's hard to imagine it tastes the same as it did 10 years ago. Then again who knows?

I totally get the distance and time thing but the pandemic has only helped as far as getting their beer. In and out in 5 or 10 minutes during the curbside days and I absolutely love the fact that they have kept online ordering while many others have moved away from that. I do wish they could find a better way to do pours but their outside space is still ideal for spreading out while Covid continues to be active. Heck, even inside is really wide open and airy..

I remember getting shut out at 2 pm one day, driving from work 2.5 hours away to get 6 cans of Julius and 6 of Green. Sold out as I got to Worcester. This was back when people were showing up 2-3 hours before their scheduled opening and forcing them to open early because of parking. It was ridiculous.

Crazy what we do and have done for beer.

Time slots are 15 minutes long that you book when you place your order. In the off season I have shown up fifteen minutes late without issue, although I suspect they may be a bit stricter during the high season. There is not as much parking there.

I'd put a lot of money that any stout brewed 10 years ago would be 'thin' for today's standards

    That's likely true.

My first growler of the 7.6% Double Shot was a religious experience. I really wish I could try it again and see how it holds up.

I just had a Very HHH and it could just be my taste buds were fatigued, but it was rather generic and disappointing. I think I have had a can or two from every time it has been released. The first time was velvety hop peach candy; subsequent batches have been underwhelming. I can say the same for Very Ggg. As much as I love novelty, I am moving into the core beer group. I did get a 4 pack of the greenest green, but the price difference from green will likely mean I will be a one time purchaser unless it is amazing.

Ok so if I book 3:30pm, I would have until 3:45pm technically.

I thought Very HHH was mind blowing. But it was the first time I had it and it probably has some FOMO flavor in there.

The FOMO taste is definitely a real thing. I'll buy anything they produce once, but usually not again due to the sheer volume of choices these days. I always get some of the cores though
