Still brewed by A-B in the U.S? Best beer I had when I visited the St. Louis brewery around 1988.

Have wanted to try it recently, but there's just too much else to choose from.

 

True, the last Elephant I bought was Danish. The brewery entrance has two huge elephant sculptures at either side of the entrance. They treated us with grace, style, food and plenty of beer!

 

Nice memories. I love it....

 

Don't try it. To me, it is nothing like the import that I drank in the 70s.

 

But... how does it compare to what A-B was brewing in the 80s?

 

I reckon that it was okay at first. I didn't see it again until 2008, when I put up my review. That ruined a good memory.

 

You got that right. I have #48 coming this August.
