The correct answer is almost certainly, "Yes."

A buddy told me that some dip shit sold his entire package for $220 on FB. What is the fuckin point of this? Seriously?? I'm thinking that since packages are allowed with proxies there is WAY more selling. Can anyone confirm this?

im in a couple of clubs that frown on selling secondary so i steer clear completely from those groups... but i believe it

my cousin got into trading cards during covid (which made a surprising comeback lol) and he was just telling me yesterday about not getting any packs on a sale for star wars cards and hes frustrated that people bought them and resold them immediately. these guys are everywhere

I haven't seen anything specifically with this package, but I've seen similar prices where it makes you wonder how hard up some of these guys are. It's a decent amount of work to package, box and drop off for $20-40.

I couldn't even commit the time of the drop to memory if I was just trying to make $30 on re-sale. Makes zero sense to me - not even worth the work of queueing up the web site and refreshing.

Maybe they just sell the order and have the buyer deal with picking up or finding a proxy

That's exactly what I saw for $220. Made a quick $40 I guess, but I can't see why anyone would do that, honestly...

I'd be willing to venture most people on this thread have been around a beer release or two (hundred). We've all interacted with a shit lord at one point or another. None of this type of behavior should surprise any of us at this point. Any more these days I enjoy opening a bottle like RBBT with friends almost immediately. I view it as the antithesis of said shitlordom and it keeps me from being tempted to trade it for some sort madness.

I was excited to eek through today. Oddly, my checkout page didn't have a Shop Pay button so I rolled with autofill. Payment processed forever like others noted, but somehow got through.

I am thrilled to score a Rye BBT package. I know packages aren't popular, but for myself who doesn't really buy nearly as much beer as I use to since my son was born, a package option isn't really a bad deal as far as trying an assortment of goods from Side Project. If it was a single bottle, I'd still buy what they had available to round out the shipping box anyway. It's as they say, can't please them all... but they do please this guy.

I had the same issue today - no shop pay option. Unfortunately, I didn't make it & congrats to you! Enjoy!!

People do this with any limited edition collectibles. Vinyl records, movie posters, action figures, even concert and sports playoff tickets. If something is popular enough that there's enough people with enough money who will buy it at any price, rest assured there will be very fine people who will snap it up so people with normal incomes have a hard time obtaining it.

I assume you mean for Rye BBT b1 and not BBT 2021? There's no way BBT 2021 was that low
