Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout - Bourbon aged Coffee Stout. My last bottle from a 4 pack I bought back in January. Flavors seem a little smoothed out now 6 months later. Nice oak, vanilla, espresso flavors, a touch boozy. Weyerbacher can still put out some pretty good beer after all the troubles they've been through.

Damn......I just love great big Imperial Stouts, and this thread...today I'm having yesterday's fraternal twin, Crystal Lakes Boathouse Reserve Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout canned 03/19/21 poured at 50°.....and ya know what, it tastes almost the same, a bit sweeter, probably 'cuz it's been aged in a bourbon barrel...
....enjoy what's in yer glass........should've done a side by side!......
EDIT: My guess is that this was "from the bottom of the barrel", lotsa "floaties"

L: Pours a thick, oily dark brown with a tan head that hangs around a bit, excellent lacing and a nice oily film on the glass. Final pour showed some "floaties", no big deal!
S: Nose gets some dark fruit, toffee and roasted malts, bourbon and ash.
T: Tongue gets some coffee, dark chocolate just a hint of alcohol.
F: This is one of the "chewier" BA stouts that I've had the pleasure of trying.
O: This beer, with a year under its belt us about as good as they get.

They definitely released a batch in late December 2021. For whatever reason my bottles didn't have the usual dating on the neck, but I bought them in a local beer store in January.

    Weyerbacher post from December 23rd:
Looks like it just didn't go to Connecticut:

Coffee and Banana go well together. My favorite milkshake has banana, hot fudge, and coffee ice cream. Try it.
