Yeah, I noticed that also. I'm looking forward to the cask of 512 Pecan Porter. They have a pretty awesome selection of beers to choose from.

 

I love that PP is in casks everywhere I go. One of the best anywhere, specifically on cask.

Did they put up a firm food menu?

 

Same menu as Nobi. Once we get a few weeks in we will be doing some different things at night food wise. The taphandles in question, is Indian Wells Whiskey Barrel Amber. As for opening, it will not be until a little later in the week. Gas won't be installed until Tuesday afternoon. We will for sure be opening next week though!

One piece of bad news though, our cask engine won't be going just yet. We're waiting on some stuff for it. W

I went at 430 and the place was packed.

 

Nice.. seems word got out pretty easily.. ha

 

went last night...

great taps, great bottle selection.. prices seemed about run of the mill with a few oddities. some seemed high, some seemed low. a few discrepancies in the prices between the menu and the wall.

food was great, quick, and holy shit cheap.

some constructive criticism here... there seemed to be a few start-up kinks to be worked out, but most of that will round itself out. i was with another couple, our tabs got switched up, and the credit cards got charged for the other person's tab. wasn't an issue, we just settled out with each other in cash. just seemed odd that you're given a number card for your tab, then when closing out i gave them the number plaque thingie, and the last name on the credit card/tab.. and ended up with the right credit card, but with the tab number and last name written on the tab of the other couple/number in the group (not matching the credit card name). probably just due to getting used to the system/process. a couple of the bartenders seemed to not quite know where the beers were on the wall yet, and had to refer to what i'm assuming was a reference telling them what glassware to use, so it seemed to slow things down while they found the right glass and handle. this too, i have zero worries about, as they'll get used to the space/product really quick.

all things considered, great job. the area needed a space like this, and y'all killed it.

I went with my wife for lunch today. Food was good. My wife had stir fry noodles with chicken.. I had a pork chop with two fried eggs... yeah.. living large!

I had a New Belgium Lips of Faith Imperial Coffee Stout... it was GREAT! 9oz sifter pour for five bucks. Wasn't paying attention, so I thought it was going to be a full pint.. what do I know.

Then I had a Saint Arnold Icon (red) It was really good on tap. A bit more carbonated than the one I had from the bottle the other day, but still plenty smooth and tasty. (My wife had a Shiner from the tap...that's about all she likes beer wise.. and I'm ok with it.. as it was a 4 dollar pint )

I'll be back for sure.

 

Ok, I've been here five times now since they opened... it's great..

the Banh Mi Sammiches are GREAT.. and they start at 4.50 and are really big.... super deal here folks.... saw someone eating the Butter Garlic Wings today... and those looked awesome.

If we ever do a bottle share there... need to find a time when it won't be too crowded..as the place is small.. at 1:30pm today (Saturday) the place was packed.. near capacity... good for them...

I think I counted 36 or 37 beers on tap.. plus a big cooler of bottles AND they had 512 Pecan Porter on cask... for 4 bucks...
