    Howdy, BA, and happy Midsummer's Eve. This is one of the main drinking holidays in Sweden, so naturally I'll stay at home, drink by myself and listen to newly purchased death metal. And maybe jazz. Who knows? Starting with Vivid by Vilda Bryggeri, tart saison, perfect for the dreadful warm weather...

    Evening all. Some tropical beers to end the day here in tropical far north Queensland. I could definitely get used to wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of winter!

    The first beer here is a great little west coast IPA that I was shocked to find was a generic supermarket brand. Generic or not, it was bloody good!

    The second beer is from one of four breweries in Cairns, this one away from the tourist areas in one of the city's northern suburbs. Only selling beer-to-go in 640ml (21.6oz) bottles which is a very unusual size for beer here in Oz. This one had hints of apricot and ripe stone fruit. Very nice!

    Really enjoying a Donegal Lager from Kinnegar Brewing in Letterkenny at the Olde Castle Bar in Donegal city. Wow, that's lot of words.

    Good morning, all! Kaito's drinking Barkpocket, a brew for dogs by Backpocket Brewing, Coralville, IA. Made with bone broth, pork shoulder, herbs, and seasonings. He seems to like it, but at three, um, bones per 12-ounce can, he may have to wait a while for the next one to show up. And to be honest, this smells so good that I may have to split the next one with him. :grinning: Cheers!

    Good day BAs! Thanks @JamFuel for kicking off today's thread! My guess would be <10 beers before he quits posting today, say about 9 beers. He may drink more, but good luck with coherent posts!
    Another beautiful summer day here on the tundra of NW PA - the bugs and I are loving the heat (80-90 degree F, 85% humidity) - I'm sweating like a PEEG (apologies to Eli Wallach) as I finished building raised beds in the garden and only have to transplant my bitter melons.

    Last night Mrs. Lizard and I went to dinner at the local "ale house" where I had the first two beers of the last three days - a four-month past date King Sue and a six-month past date Hop Juju. Today, however, I'm done moving dirt in the garden so I'm having a damn good barley wine:

    Picked up several beers yesterday, including this long looked for SN Hoptimum.....pretty damn tasty, even at 2+ months old when it finally showed up!
