I’m an idiot. Reversed my price/ounce. Cheaper at 25.4 versus a 22 (bomber), but not $12/18, your example @VodkaPong87 holds. Mea culpa.

I don’t find the pricing egregious and would be fine with a ba/special coffee beer at that price point. Plenty of other beer just as expensive or more expensive with less into it (non-ba, etc.) as @cdinardo21 points out.

I guess my point was, I'd rather have the smaller format and pay a little more per oz because soloing a 750 is not what I want to do at this point in my life. I think I mentioned in here before that none of my friends drink stouts, so splitting it isn't an option.

I get that @VodkaPong87 - wouldn't solo mine either - this would definitely be a share situation, as with all 750s at this point in my life - I'm with ya there.

I recently had their decaf coffee, I thought it had good flavor for being decaf. I’m curious to see if they’ll use it in any of their coffee stouts.

"Each bottle contains the cold brew concentrate equivalent of three cans of cold brew."

So this is essentially a Four Loko?

I drink a fair amount of coffee stouts and have never felt a caffeine buzz. I wonder if this one would be different. That sounds like a lot of coffee in 750ml

So me and my buddy made an impromptu trip out to Sandwich after work last night. I got a pretty big order to go. When the guy brought it out, I noticed he had given me the Kola liqueur instead of the Cafe Kola I had ordered. I asked and he said they were out so they gave me that instead. No complaints, I wanted the beer but that's a $26 upgrade and I liked Kola last time I had it. But, checking back now, Sandwich still has it listed. That was weird, but then, Curiosity 5 was probably the beer I was most excited to get yesterday. I didn't notice until I got home, but they gave me Curiosity 125, which honestly upset me quite a bit. I'm sure it'll be good too, but I wanted to try a beer from their earlier days which I missed. Oh well

Wait, they swapped that out and charged you for it? No, like, I’m good just credit my card/order?

I think it was just the weight of it that did it for me. I do love a good, heavy, non-adjuncted Stout, but I think I was just expecting better, perhaps a bit more expressive

No no, I would've been mad about that haha. I meant to say a $26 increase in value from the $10 beer to the $36 liqueur. It was a nice free upgrade

Pay a premium for the beer, drive to the source, and they mess up orders…

I’d be willing to bet they would rectify the situation if it was brought to their attention. Inevitably, things like this will happen from time to time. It’s human error. It happens. I doubt it happens with much frequency. Yes, it would be best if it didn’t happen at all.

Oh please. Given the size of their operation, they’ve done an extremely good job at expanding while maintaining quality both in beer and service. Of course it’s not perfect, like you’ve never made a mistake on the clock?

Seriously. Much ado about nothing. They’ve messed up an order for me before. It wasn’t the end of the world. Got the wrong lager. Oops. It happens

anyone know who the bitchin', flat black, Mercedes conversion camper van belongs to? It's tastefully tricked out with off road tires, black wheels, low-key led light bar over the windscreen. Completely flat black except for a big, gloss black Tree House logo across the side. It's very nice
