I think it’s because they think a lot of people got it off for the holiday weekend. I actually have it off, but if there was a beer dropping I’d miss it because we’re heading to Yosemite for the weekend. I’d imagine it would be the same for the folks in Stl

I find this sentiment a little ridiculous after we got Forever Darkness, DB Generational and two BBTR.

 

I was pleasantly surprised by the DB Gen and Forever Darkness since both were collabs, which have been 50/50 for members in the past. Those are both 375s and Billionaires appears to be 750ml. I was already a fan of smaller bottles but if it means more availability then it's just another reason to love it.

 

Oof, Yosemite on Independence Day weekend has to be wild.

 

I mean this is the third stout in ~1 month that LC (apparently) isn’t getting so it’s not that ridiculous.


Yes, LC welcome emails say “you won’t get every bottle” and it is a lower membership fee than most, but it’s still paid.

 

Ambiente and Achromatic are both Shared stouts which have never been guaranteed to members. As a barleywine lover I remember being salty about Sulla Terra but then I realized I had plenty of beer and LC gets tons of stuff and I got over it.

 

LC 2019-2020 intensifies
