Yea it was a top tier barleywine imo. I’ve had many and it was at the top with vsoj to me. this is awesome, but admittedly I might skip it due to being 84 degrees out and mid-day drinking. If we were going at 6 I’d get a pour for sure. But who knows… I’m celebrating a birthday plus promotion. Might get wild

What’s the parking fee at the Sandwhich, MA location now?

The idea of the shuttle doesn’t sound so appetizing. Anyone been since rates kicked in?

I definitely did not pay any parking when I picked up cans and had a couple beers in Sandwich a couple weeks ago. I didn't realize I needed to do that, I thought it was Tree House parking. It was also a Wednesday at like 2:30 so it wasn't even close to full.

 

No clue, but I also never saw it posted on any draft lists (their web page, untappd). I could have missed it too.

Yeah you just beat it. I figured it would be at least $20 given the parking lots here In the Seacoast jacking up during our tourist season.

Not TH fault, figured that was a city lot. Ah well, wonder what parking is like overall. Not a chance I’d ever be there on a weekend until September. But that view fucking rips!

 

I assume there is no parking charge to just
pick up cans that have been Pre ordered?

 

Unless it has changed they have ten or so spots right in front that are their own for pickup...

 

No I just pulled up and after notifying them they came right out. BTW the lot was almost empty at 10:15 on Sunday morning. Looked like a nice spot to hit the beach though.

 

Had The Greenest Green on tap today. Thought it was really good, but doubt I could find a difference between it and VGggg if I had them blind. Haze w/peach was surprisingly dank and also delicious. Final pour was Wanderer Palisade on side pull, which I also thought was really good. Great trip with no lines

 

So there’s a small chance I make it there today. Going to visit some family in Massachusetts and if I leave there early enough I’m gonna place a to go order and pick it up on my way home.

My plan was to get the lawnmower beer half case, 4 saps, and then the JJjust another goat mixed case of beers as well. Figure that gives me a nice variety. I really like lighter beers and low ABV beers but I know they obviously do IPAs and double IPAs incredibly well so I am gonna get a case of those. To be honest though I can drink just about anything. However I’m a firm believer and if you go to a barbecue place you don’t order pasta or pizza order what they’re known for. So with that being said , Is there any beer that is not included in either one of those that is mind blowing good that I need to get? Not really looking for adjunct stouts (like stouts but not with a lot of adjuncts) and stuff like that.

also not sure how familiar everyone is but goat mix contains four of Julius, Haze, green, very green, very hazy, and king Julius.

The lawn Moore one contains 2 outlier, 2 wanderer, 2 idle minds,
1 Free to Roam- 12oz, 1 Pizzeria Pils, 1 Rover, 1 Shipshape, 1 Surfcaster, 1 Wanderer Callista

Also this is assuming that those case mixes are available today. Won’t have too much time to play on my phone throughout the day so I figured I’d post this now and look at recommendations before I order later tonight. Any advice is appreciated…

 

Sounds like a really good mix. Only thing you're not getting is a stout. Their stouts are big, thick, and very sweet - but really delicious when that's what you're in the mood for. If you or people you share beer with like that style, I'd suggest adding a four pack of either Moment of Clarity or Hold onto Sunshine to your order.

Edited to add: I also think Bear is a really, really, really solid brown ale, and worth buying if you like those even though it's not really what TH is known for.

 

Good to know. But I’m sure that will change with the kids out this week and holidays kicking in.
