    I prefer Doubleganger but they're both good. I'm not a fan of Julius but do enjoy KJ. If I were choosing between AE and Doubleganger it's any easy choice for me.

    I think all of their beers say to "keep cold" so I don't know if I'd not get something based off of that. Doubleganger is good, but I find that the amped up hop versions of the regulars can tend to deviate from "actually taste the hops over the house yeast character" to "this is overdone, vegetal, burny." YMMV. The Alter/Doppel side of the family tree features mosaic so if you like mosaic, you should go for it.

    Doppel is rarely brewed these days, just like Alter.

    I had Glowsticks and thought it was pretty good. Cruise King was an assault of fruit flavors, which I didn’t mind, but could see some folks hating it out of principle.

    Traffic was fine at the 90 to 84, not sure how it is now. Lines aren’t too long, luckily got a parking spot in the upper lot.

    apparently they are closing at 6, and “reopening”, resetting the drink limit. Should be interesting, I’ve got my dog so we won’t be staying for the fire works.

    Anyways, if you’re trying to put back 60oz of barrel aged barleywine, today is your day.

    Ended up making the stop en route to Vermont. Very, very chill. No wait at the bar, no wait for pizza. Deerfield>Charlton all day.

    Pickup in Sandwich today took maybe 3 minutes. Great experience.

    Question: my wife, daughter and I are planning to go later in the week for pours … do we have to make 3 distinctly separate orders for our reservations? Appreciate any insights from those who have done this before.

    Each person 6 and older needs a reservation as far as I know. We always have a reservation for each person.
