True Grit (both of them, for different reasons, great book as well)
The Misfits...this is an interesting one, both Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gables last movie.
The Shootist,,,Is my John Wayne bias showing ha, this was his last, and Lauren Bacall is as good as ever.

Stopped by the Home Brew place I applied to last week just to check in. They are still looking over applicants. After that information, I decided to have a Blind Pig on the way out:

At Whole Foods now, and this Chapman Crafted Time Tested Red Ale wasn’t exactly bad, but it was way over on fruit notes over caramel and malt. After a few sips, I find something I rarely do, and sent it back:

Went with an ice cold Perennial Sump to clean up the boat beers mess. Hopefully it warms up quickly:

 

Lawn mowed and other chores done- definitely time for a brew!

Ending the night with this one

 

It is excellent but I haven't been able to buy any for about 3 weeks now. I asked the beer guy about it and he says he orders it every week but they haven't had any, not sure what's going on with that. I told him to just keep ordering it and I emailed CBC about it but have not received a response. I'll be pissed if I can't get it anymore

14 hour day half of which was spent fixing someone else's mistake. Definitely calls for a shower beer.

I got it about two years ago it was considered flawed so I got it at a discount. Before this I had a spiegelau glass that was incredibly thin. I swear it dropped maybe a foot on carpet and exploded I’m still finding pieces. This one has been much more durable.

 

There Will Be Blood is a good 1. Daniel Day Lewis is awesome to watch. Last of the Mohicans and Gangs of NY are damn good movies.

Those are good 1s. The Shootist is great I was just watching that 1 a few days ago. I really like the Wyatt Earp show with Hugh O Brian. Laramie is good to. I watch a lot of Gunsmoke atm. Taking care of my 98 year old aunt I prefer Gunsmoke over the news channel that's for damn sure lol.

Another good 1 I own and watch often is Night of the Grizzly. Clint Walker is awesome. Something comforting about older movies I love it.

 

Cool stuff, JZ. When I came home from playing Army in Vietnam, my dog back then hadn't seen me in over 15 months and she went berserk when I came into the house. My family couldn't believe how much she kept jumping on me and just trying to get closer and closer. I don't care what folks say about animals not remembering because I can vouch for the fact that they do. Thanks for sharing this.
