Hopefully this is a legitimate to make a thread for, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble using their member presale codes for the 2022 GABF. Both my friend and I keep getting invalid code messages. I'm wondering (hoping) that this is a universal issue...
Per Twitter: We are investigating the error in presale codes and apologize for the inconvenience. Hold tight! American Homebrewers Association (@HomebrewAssoc) https://twitter.com/BrewersAssoc/status/1546892069515378688
I was able to go to the GABF website and click "Tickets" in the upper right-hand corner. From there, I was able to buy tickets with no presale code. I hope those tickets are honored...
They opened it up so no code is required. No idea WTF pre-sale is even good for at this point or how they're verifying whether people are AHA/BA members or not... buying tickets for what's supposed to be a members session.
My son picked up six tickets and had no problems. This will be my first time attending. My wife is pushing to attend a second session (Thursday).
I had issues initially, but managed to snag tickets during the period when they weren't requiring passwords. They're loaded into my AXS account, so I'm just gonna call it good. In terms of days to go, I'm a fan of Thursday and the early Saturday session. Friday tends to be a little chaotic and the Saturday afternoon session is always laden with booths that are out of everything desirable. Still, all of them are fun. If I could only do Friday and Saturday afternoon, I'd still do 'em in a heartbeat.
