LOL. Per the release info. Hate to see what the vintage bags will cost in a few years.

TG To-Go Bags will be available for purchase for an additional $9.50 plus tax

Those are some pretty sweet bags though. They have the ability to keep the beers cold with bottle holder on the outside. Honestly don’t think it’s that bad. I know a lot of places give away cheap fabric bags with the release

Still a cubic butload available. Apparently not particularly special anymore. I also wonder if gas prices have anything to do with it.

Given that proxies are allowed, I don't think the latter would play a significant factor. My guess is the former with the price being a contributing factor. And of course it's not barrel aged.

You mean for the beer you can get on tap pretty much any time of the year at TG, sometimes for cheaper than there outrageously priced bottles. The fact that anyone still goes out of their way for MD kind of amazes me.

Same price for the last 8 years now.

I think given that they can produce such a huge amount attributed to the lack of sell out in the release. They essentially make enough for anyone that wants a bottle.

I suspect MD will turn into a distro beer like some of the Term Oils soon.

This makes a LOT more sense then. I was envisioning the standard fabric bags. Thanks for setting me straight on that!

    LOL, not even close.

In 2014, I paid $20 per bottle for Assassin (12 bottles over 3 days) and $25 per bottle of KBBS (barrel aged Morning Delight). I didn't make the Morning Delight release that year but I believe it was also $20 per bottle.

Actually, I remember there was no release in 2014. In 2013 it was $10 per 12oz bottle and in 2015 it was $100 for two 22oz bottles, a collectible glass, and a pour.

The apathy continues to grow for TG.

Waiting for it drop at my northern WI store, glad to hear its a good batch.

In other news, they got their first shipment of Galaxy the other day from what I hear . Also they are planning for another smaller than average Nelson drop. Still hoping to see the pseudo mix 12'er before the end of the year. Also 6 pack bottles.

Perhaps a new Mike single hop pale ale under 6%? God knows that will never happen.

I got some in Des Moines a week or so ago. Just had 1 so far, but it's pretty solid.

Is TG generally harder to find a proxy for than other breweries?

Unless you find someone that lives in Iowa. I've stopped making the pilgrimage of a 5 hr one way trip for TG. And if I do decide to go again one day, I would just bring home Pulpit.

TG for food. Pulpit for beer.
I kid, I bring both home. More so of Pulpit though.

I was more asking insofar as I couldn't get a bite in the proxy thread for mornin' delight - surprised by that - never had issues in the past with other breweries.
