my last of the ORB Good in the Woods (so-called) west coast IPA. 7.1%
Still not my fave*; fits the profile, but the taste gets... lost in the woods.

With proof-of-life calendar date (I love Effing Birds). And these posts really remind me that I need some new beer glassware soon! Hmm...

Things can change fast. The plan for dinner tonight was to roast a chicken and prepare a large salad with many of the vegetables (tomatoes, green beans, sweet peppers, scallions, basil) to come from my garden.

Then beer and wine reared their ugly heads. Plan now is to get a delivery of pizza, chicken tenders, and fries from the small local pizza place by us.

 

Thanks - love ya brother! I am enjoying it, may have to have another.

Having another visionquest brewing beer, this time, their english-style stout. It's pretty traditional tasting but with some big chocolatey malts and a little bit of extra hop bitterness but it's pretty good, it tastes pretty dang big too for the abv

 

True Anomaly Contact Light, really good hoppy Saison.

More 70's Soul/Fusion Jazz from the great Black Jazz Record label. The Awakening-Hear, Sense, and Feel.

Top 3 fave genesis album for me. And IMHO, probably has the BEST album opening notes of any album ever. When those bass pedals kick in...

 

Seems the brew registers on the high octane side. I think it could easily be my friend.
