Riip Beer (2022)

I'm just one of the those people that if I'm going out to a place to have a beer or two, I prefer to do it with company. It is close enough that a quick zip in an Uber/Lyft would be mega convenient going solo.

 

When I’m home I prefer to hangout with “some” friends. When I’m traveling international I’m solo unless the wife decides to go with me. It’s a great way to meet all kinds of interesting people. With my work schedule and age I like to have my beers at lunch or before dinner. With RiiP having bands playing I’ll have to make an occasional early evening appearance. Otherwise the original RiiP will be my usual spot to hang. You can’t beat the location. I think the Warner/PCH spot has some great views.

 

Does the new spot post it’s tap list and/or to-go cans somewhere?

 

Just back from my 2nd visit to their new pizza pub joint. Place was packed at 1230. They open at noon on the weekends. I don’t think RiiP has ever had a taplist per say. When I was on IG they had a riipthis account which would show the latest beer they tapped. Or you could message them asking for a taplist. Weird. I use the Untappd app to see what’s new in can and tap releases. And they do have a cooler stocked with the latest cans. Pizza size is like 18” so it’s a pretty good size. If you want the Detroit style it’s like 10” x 8” for less $. Don’t pass up on the Brussel sprouts.

 

Will we ever see Raider Bob back in cans?

 

I hope so, I don't ever remember seeing it canned otherwise I would've gotten it.

 

But that Wallbangers on tap right now is fire.

 

Oh it’s been canned before back in the first days of canning their beers. But not since they have the new canning line. They’ve been putting out a lot of great west stuff for sure. Just need Raider Bob canned.

 

Where’s the love for Raider Bob? I haven’t seen RBob in cans in a long time. Like almost forever. This & Super Cali we’re my go to west coast for the longest. SC has made some appearances. But not RB. Come on man.
