I picked up the coffee stout today and asked about the cherry and a lady said its was here 2 weeks ago and is now gone. Does anyone know if that is true? Or did I miss out?
2 cases hit Lincoln 12/12/12. One went to Jakes and I'm not sure what bar got the other. They were to do on-premises consumption only. Jakes sold out within a few days. 4 cases hit Omaha on 12/13/12. 3 went to bottle shops and 1 went to the Lauter Tun. The bottle shops all sold out within 45 minutes of getting their case. The Lauter Tun recently posted a photo to twitter that they had no more for sale. I don't know if the rest of the state got any.
ah whatta bummer. i figured both the lincoln cases i would not be able to get my hands on, altho i was hoping i might get lucky at a random trip down to jakes i did notice lincoln got an unexpected healthy re-up of the reg 4pks this weekend though
Whole Foods in Omaha got some on 12/11/12, but sold out real quick. Not sure if Brix or Beertopia got any. Good luck! Cheers!
Beertopia, Whole Foods, Jake's, and The Lauter Tun got 1 case each. The LT was on premises consumption only. Technically, WF's only got 11 bottles b/c 1 of the bottles got capped erroneously. Very little of it saw the light of day, and there is no chance of finding it in a store.
Bill, If you are ever looking for limited releases in Omaha Beertopia is the top spot. They seem to have a way of getting everything!

BrettHead, you might be right, but I know that a friend of mine talked to Jakes right before it had released and they seemed positive they were getting a case. I don't know anyone that landed a bottle from there though. To bring the thread up the current, how awesome would it be to have GI bring in some BCBS and a variant to Extreme Beerfest! That would be the Cherry (Rye) to top off OBW!
