    Evening all!

    Thought I'd get this thread started with some home-brewed goodness, an American Double IPA hefting 8.5% but hiding it really well.

    My 15-year-old daughter is listening to Rocket Queen by Guns n Roses in the bathroom right now, so I can finally rest easy knowing I did something right as a parent. Finally...

    As a side note mate, I’ve never been to OZ but have met enough Australians both here and in Canada to acknowledge most of you are decent lads. I can’t say I have met many Kiwis but off those I’ve met the compliment also applies.

    True or every nations and whatever ethnicities. Dicks are everywhere, but from my minimal experience the ratio of dicks is not that bad in the antipodes.

    I only know of one Australian proverb on the roads: “Nice indicator dickhead”.

    Before I dive in, wanted to give a shout out and a few curious questions:
    1. Sending best wishes and congratulations to @sportscrazed2 on his new job!
    2. Have many questions related to @champ103 's "Italian Beef Sandwich" prepared at Houston's Better Luck Next Time, but will limit to three:
      • Did you and or your friends like/love the sandwich?
      • What kind of bread was used to make it roll up like a tamale/eggroll?, and
      • What was in it besides beef (specifically the visible red)?
    Another early start with a favorite local Pale Ale.

    La Chouffe makes believers of regular AAL American brands. I still love it. From my experience in Australia and New Zealand, the Kiwis are more like Brits and the Aussies more like Yanks. Just generally speaking. My Dad served with Aussies and Kiwis in The Pacific and often said they were top notch soldiers...

    Another great Polish IPA. I only have 1 left of the box I ordered that I would take with me when we go to Germany tomorrow lol. Lets hope I find more then only Bitburger Pils :slight_smile:

    Nah, fun but stage race, pricey, and a little too close to Leadville for me. Looks great; maybe in the future? There's one like it in Scotland that looks appealing, too, FWIW. Great cool cloudy day today, huh? Cheers to ya!

    EDIT/addendum - but I'm doing a 30k this Saturday as part of the smaller Pikes Peak Ultra events. Thought about 50k but again, close, and... pretty tough vertical. Need to be smart about "dose." :slight_smile:
