Hello, I will likely be visiting Tree House for the first time (Deerfield) and was wondering when they typically drop new beers during the week

They usually drop between 3 and 5 on a given weekday. Check out @TreeHouseBrewCo on Twitter where they usually highlight what they've canned each morning.

Just a small gripe - I had visited Charlton a few weeks ago and loaded up thinking I wouldn't be back for a few months. I ended up having an opportunity for more last weekend as I was going to pass through Sandwich on my way to the in-laws. Turns out there's a $65 minimum order. Normally not a problem, but I wanted to "top off" my most recent haul with just a couple of 4-packs. So I passed. Disappointing, but no regrets (yet).

That's a bummer. I know they did away with the order minimum at Charlton, and I think Deerfield, but I guess they still have it in place in Sandwich. Probably because of the limited space there, and with the potential summer crowds, so makes sense. Still a bummer for you.

I'd love for someone from TH to explain why there's a minimum purchase besides to screw the customer. Are they hurting for money so anyone ordering a four pack or two is killing them? Ah yes, to prevent the all too common delete for no reason, I enjoy drinking Green and Haze.

Yeah I too have passed up the Cape visit while close because of not wanting $65 of beer. I have to assume it's still there due to the location issue, though one would think that we have to be approaching the point where the newness has worn off enough to make it a nonissue.

I had the opposite problem of keeping my purchase under $200. I do agree it would be nice not to have a minimum purchase policy though.

Not that this’ll change how people feel, but:

Tree House Sandwich is the smallest Tree House facility, and we are located in a residential section on the beautiful Sandwich coastline. Given our limited storage space, limited permitted occupancy, limited pick-up time availability, limited ability to make improvements and additions to the existing property, and not least our intent to always be good neighbors, there is a $65.00 minimum for beer to go orders. This order minimum ensures that our business model in Sandwich remains viable. Those guests that visit Sandwich with a reservation for draft beverages do have the opportunity to purchase cans to take home without an order minimum. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to your visit!

Pretty sure the $65 minimum is waved in Sandwich if you are already on premise for draft pours. They have to enforce the minimum for everyone else because it's curbside service. There are only like ten parking spots and they can't have people sitting in them for 10+ minutes to grab a single 4pk. While I don't like the reservation systems for curbside and on premise, it would be a logistical nightmare to let people wander into that location at will, Covid restrictions or not.

Pretty sure you could hit the $65 buying three 4-packs and adding a tip…given the restraints due to size/location, I get it…

Lol seriously. What ever happened to BA's pledge to ease up on the nanny-state moderation? Old habits die hard, I guess.

Right right-- Green is my fav th beer

With all those limitations, I tend to wonder why that location was chosen at all.

That being said, I'm sure Tree House will survive not getting my business on that particular day. And I do understand the reasons. I'm generally in the $100-$140 dollars spent crowd when I go.

The minimum totally makes sense at that location, and it's generally pretty easy to hit the minimum. I'd happily put up with a $65 minimum at ALL locations if it meant I could pick exactly what number of which cans I want!

Just had an Ambrosia canned two weeks ago. It was terrible. My wife and I drain poured it.

For the record, I pretty much never have anything bad to say about tree house beers. Extremely rare miss for them, IMO.

Im on record on king creamsicle and smoothie king being two of the best beers I’ve had from them ever. The guava one was absolutely nasty. Find the fruit adjunct ones incredibly hit or miss.
