We had Piesano's in Clermont and in Windermere when we still lived in Florida. If it's the same as those I know it's going to be good.

 

Good morning BAs! I took yesterday off as a cleanse day and spent over 14 hours circumnavigating the island driving/site seeing. This morning’s sunrise breakfast beer is Old Rasputin:



We’ve had 2 days of glorious sunny weather. On Thursday we visited, inter alia, Rainbow Falls in Hilo:



We went late afternoon so no “rainbow” from the mist (have to go mid morning for right sun angle). Yesterday at 3:30am we drove to Volcano National Park to see the lava in the dark…pic was taken just before 5am…Kilauea Caldera in all its glory:



An active volcano and spectacular! During the day it’s still fun enough, but from the distance it just looks like a dark smoking giant hole in the ground.

Today we have tickets to the 3 day Orchid Show in Hilo. Sure to see a lot of pretty interesting orchids. Cheers and have an Aloha Friday y’all!
