I've been waiting for RuinTen to drop in my area ever since I've seen folks here enjoying the re-release. Well, it finally did, but imperfectly fresh. Worth the gamble, because if there's one brewery I trust with enjoy by dates, it's the brewery that turned the very concept into a beer.

    Yep, this definitely works!

Happy Sunday BA's! Three hours of overtime complete and a 15 mile bike ride. Got out about 6 miles and the front derailer cable snapped, so my U-turn came before the hills really kicked up. Finishing bloody mary #2 and sipping a baby bottle as it rises in temp. It was a brutal final stage in the women's tour, 23-25% grade on the last .5K that was packed limestone and shale. American cyclist Veronica Ewer finished 9th overall, a very solid ride.

Drinking Dogfish Head Tru-Action IPA @ChicagoJ Wow, glad you liked the tune. I'm a fan of Herbie Hancock, that line up is outstanding and Sheila E. rocks the Latin rhythm.
As a side note episode 7 of The Bear on FX/Hulu opens with Lin Brehmer on WXRT

This is Herbie with Jeff Beck's rhythm section

Mike Clark was on the original, you might notice he changes up his left-hand grip

G'day, all! What you're looking at here is the second pour of Big Bin Porter, from Limestone Brewing, Osage, IA. This thing was a gusher from the moment the cap came off. I dumped the first pour because it was all foam. This one was dribbled slowly down the side of the (scrupulously clean) glass, and I still got a full complement of foam. All I can say is, eat your heart out, Orval. After waiting for it to settle down, I finally got to sample the beer for the first time. It was worth the wait. No, I'm not skipping Oktoberfest and going straight to the winter beers. I just had this sitting in the fridge and figured I'd try it. Why not?

Paired with this "dragged through the garden" Chicago-style hot dog. (There's a Vienna dog in there somewhere, I think.) Complete with Rolf's relish, Marconi sport peppers, and a Claussen pickle spear. If you know, you know.

Happy Sunday Advocates & thanks @belvedere86 for todays thread. I'm enjoying this new offering. Pulsating amounts of citrus zest really power this brew into the brisk/crisp/dry zone leaving a 120 grit sandpaper tongue. Not a lot of depth but it is not thin. Just a bit light. A very tasty drop.

Good morning BAs! Cross post from NBW - a beer brewed and canned in Kona, HI - Kona Brewing Co.’s “Kua Bay IPA”:

Tasty WC style. Tasting notes on the NBW thread…I’m driving down to the southern end of the island (2 hours) to visit the green sand beach (1 hour walk), so I’ll be out of pocket for the next 6 hours or so…Cheers and have a great Sunday y’all!
