    Happy Sunday, BAs! I'm enjoying this Wild, Oak Foeder Grisette from Pathlight Brewing - compliments of @Harrison8. It's nicely-balanced - not too tart, not too sour, not too oaky - and perfect for mid-summer outdoor drinking. I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. Cheers!

    Fire On The Mountain Red IPA 6.3% ABV. This is a beer style I have little experience with. The malt base gives some caramel and slight chocolate notes. Nice balance to the moderate level of bitterness. I like this better than their NEIPA.

    HF isn't widely-regarded as having that murky-murk that gets fanboys' panties all in a bunch. That little bit of wood they get, however, is negligible. Hill Farmstead produces some of the best IPAs known to man.

    Having a Flower Child IPA aka The Hippie Chick. @SABERG So today I called the brewery to find out what's going on. They told me that the next batch is in production and will be released soon, they're waiting for can production to catch up with demand.

    They even ran out of cans at the brewery so all they offer right now is growlers or pours. They assured me it will be back soon. Now I don't know if that validates what the distributor told me - that they had a bad batch or not, but it's good to know it will be back on shelves.

    I find them a refreshing change from IPA's and the ilk. When they're done well they can be quite tasty and enjoyable.
