How busy is Deerfield on the weekends? I know Charlton will be slammed so I'd expect it to be at least somewhat crowded. Just not sure if it's gonna be line city like Charlton.

Went to Sandwich earlier for draft and some brews to-go - total breeze and what a beautiful spot!

They hadn’t opened for draft when I went last year, so this was my first time actually in the space - really simple and inviting, nice flow both indoors and out. Enjoyed a few pours outside - second floor bar the only one open but moved quickly. Only time waiting (~15 minutes) was ordering cans to-go at 1:55pm as our reservation ended - minor complaint vs. my first Charlton trip (90 minutes for 2 cans of green and 2 cans of super typhoon)

Not sure if mentioned previously, but parking is $20 fwiw

    Anyone opened up PB Brownie?

On the fence about it, ngl, I miss the 12oz waxed bottles.

I'm the only one of my immediate family and circle of friends who drinks so I'd have to down that entire bottle myself.

I'm sure it's better than most of the cloying pastry stouts out there, but it's still probably too much for me.

I could barely justify a $23 drain pour of Resolution Break despite how awful it was, but $38? I'm definitely sitting that one out.

Yeah, I sat out the geisha 750, luckily caught it on tap. It was good, but too much coffee for me, glad I sat out the bottle. May have to see if they kegged any of pb brownie.

Notes from a fun day at TH with a small group yesterday. Much longer lines than expected on a Sunday; we waited 30-45 minutes for main bar and 15-20 minutes for classics bar drafts around 3pm. An hour later the lines were down to just a few minutes.

Juli-ish and Unity are outstanding warm weather, drink outside beers. Unity is classic Nelson with a nice bitter finish.

Trailbreaker and Free to Roam are amazing lagers, but the side pour isn't the same into a plastic cup. I wouldn't get their lagers next time unless they're pouring into glass.

Juice Project with Citra + Barbe Rouge is almost overwhelmingly red berries. Not my thing, but very interesting flavor profile for a NEIPA.

Juice Project with Citra + Galaxy is delicious. Those two hops complement each other so well.

Prism with Guava won the people's choice award at our table.

But Very Green still wins my best in show award.

Anyone here have Mini Creamsicle yet? I figured it would be nice and balanced, but I found it lifeless up front and overwhelmed by vanilla on the finish. Only disappointed because I had high hopes

While I enjoy the occasional adjunct ipa, I stay away from vanilla.

Green Machine is excellent, less of a fruit bowl than juice machine, more of a pineapple salad

This is my experience with almost every pale ale they’ve produced.

I have a can if Green-ish left and just don’t really want to drink it. It’s almost an embarrassment to the Green name. Just no flavor to me. TH sweet spot is 6.8% - 8.3% abv

I think they’re fine for what they are, I do prefer something like Lights On that doesn’t leave me wanting an actual ipa, unlike the core ipas / dipas being reduced to an apa

I can't say I totally agree. I've definitely had a handful of cans that fit what you're describing even going all the way back to Monson Lights On, but I'm chalking it up to batch variation more than anything else. Pride and Purpose is a wow beer for me, as is Beneficiaries of Chance. Huge fan of Unity as well. Little Machine is the only mini series one I've had recently, but I've had both a great and a just OK batch of it. Overall I would guess the hit rate is similar for me as it is for their other beers, where maybe 50% are very good, 40% are excellent, and 10% are meh.

Went to Tree House for the first time (Deerfield) over the weekend and had a great time. It was the last event for a bachelor party and a few guys had never even heard of Tree House and really enjoyed themselves as well. The place was enormous, felt like Disneyland with all the fanfare. Picked up a 4 pack of King Julius, Very Hazy, Very Green, Juice Machine, Julius, and Green Machine, the latter of which I'm enjoying right now, it's very very good. Me several years ago would have been blown away by what I was able pick up all at once. A few guys happened to bring up a mixed case of Under the Canopy in the beginning of the weekend so got a good assortment of things.

I'm planning to visit Deerfield on Saturday and have a logistical question that I'm hoping someone could answer...can I order drinks and pizza and eat/drink outdoors? Unfortunately my wife is immunocompromised and I'm still not able to do indoor drinks/food. Really hoping I can order indoors (wearing a mask) and take food and drink outdoors to enjoy.

You need to order pizza at the pizza desk and beer at the bar. Sorry to say

My wife and our minor child are planning on stopping by Sandwich for a pick up and a pour ticket. Are minors even allowed to be there and if so does she need to pay since she is obviously not going to be drinking beer?
