BVC being brewed again?!? probably going to be a couple of years but that’s one i’d like to revisit. was excellent fresh. with some age on it… not so much

I’ve only had Anabasis 4 and 5 and thought they were very different from each other. Batch 4 was much more barrel forward and relatively dry, and batch 5 was a dark fruit bomb. I much preferred batch 4. How does the new one compare?

 

Haven't been following along much as of late, but decided to open up something special for my 3000 review on Beer Advocate.

what happened to that almond stout at twcp?

 

I always feel like such a moron reading this thread...

 

there was a tease on ig a while back about bottling a stout with almond and vanilla for The Wine and Cheese Place (TWCP). in a typical year SP will release a beer or 2 for them (Merci, Continuance TWCP, Derivation TWCP).

 

Nice! Label looks really nice too! Following the “for” line

 

that’s looks like a proper special blend of Merci

 

Coex, bretty OF, and blended 2017, sounds delicious

 

That was just bottled. That’s not the usual 2-3 months of bottle conditioning yet.
