They sold out so none left. It was easy if you got some during the pre-order. Limit 2 4-packs. Idk if I'm answering your question or really what you're looking for.

Sounds like they should have two entries as one has an adjunct:

    Thundertaker
    Thundertaker with Polar Vortex

Also, I am very disappointed that no one (and especially @GuyFawkes) has posted a review of Thunderstruck.

They seem to have them listed on the to go page so you can order now and pick up later.

Im other words, it was brewery-only (no Binnys or other distro), sold out on the first day (but not like “it timed out while I was entering my payment info” pace) - if trading weren’t dead on BA, it wouldn’t be too hard to trade for, but these days, who knows….

4 packs available to go on the brewpub page. Kegs available to go at the brewery page. Find a proxy and you too can get Lumberstruck. But yeah, this is a non distro beer.

Agree completely. I know some people have mentioned Mineshaft similarities, and I agree with that too.

The are 7 more 4-packs of Lumberstruck sitting at the Brewpub that have been there since release day. I think people just don't realize they're there.

Honestly, I was finance guy at the time and don't remember getting in the weeds with this aspect of the beer. What I do remember very clearly is that come April 2020 when we were scheduled to release Thundertaker 1.0, we thought the label was unintentionally very inappropriate given what was happening in the world. We already had big bucks invested in the cans which were already delivered, so we debated a new name and artwork, or to just let the beer sit in barrels longer and buy us time, which is typically a good thing. We hadn't figured out a COVID release structure for Deep Wood yet as this was all very fresh at the time, so pausing the release seemed like the right thing to do on many accounts. We ended up waiting until the beginning of Halloween season when the vibe of that artwork would feel less untimely and I don't think we heard a complaint about it.

LMAO! I didn't mean it disparagingly - just don't want people going there thinking they're going to get an inside line on the lineup of Deep Woods crowlers for the next release :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I am seriously late to the Gravedigger Billy party, but DAMN! That’s good stuff! I feel like I been punched in the mouth, in a good way. Great weather, got the grill going, really digging the beer! Life is good.

Finally cracked a Thundertaker. My rankings (subject to change):
    1. Lumberstruck
    1a. Thundertaker
    3. Coconut Deth

The difference between the top 2 is crazy slim, and my favorite will likely depend on what mood I’m in.

Gotta say I'm really looking forward to the Afterthought collab. They're one of the places I frequently visit when I've driven up for a Deep Woods release; the people and the beers are both great, so I really hope this gives them some broader exposure.

(And the cans look great with Afterthought's signature style!)
