    i would suggest you buy a 6-er of this years release (at 20 bucks its a steal . The fact someone even makes BA 6 pack at that price should have themcflying off the shelves and when you consider people still swarm all over bcbs ) also ... buy the Southern Charred. Theyre collectibles now

    They're probably the best brewery in that state and for people with a lot of time and/ or money , but not the country . I can't truly say cuz i haven't had anything from them.
    I haven't had a BCBS in a very long time, although 2 months ago i had sips from the bottle at a friends viewing but cant remember anything from that day.
    I see them all over the place out here , but refuse to buy them up to this point for a few reasons.

    All this means shit though becuase it all boils down to personal opinion and time/place where beer is consumed so i dont know why im typing this

    I can't speak for those, but baptista was released in 2018 and had infection issues. I'm not sure how they really held up over 4 years.
    In its prime though.... a la chingada!

    This is a good take. BCBS is THE standard for BA stouts, and every time I have one I find myself comparing it to BCBS. I'm almost always disappointed.

    IMHO the 2016 BBB was outstanding (4.64) and better than the 2020 Bigger Badder Baptista (which was a lower ABV?) (4.43) and better IMHO than the Yeti version (4.34) and Westbrook Mexican Cake (4.35) which i probably need to re-review as Cake was damn hot and i like hot stuff!

    That place is like a shopping mall of beer critics. You mean you take into account a website where people rare coffee stouts a 2 because " not a fan of coffee " ??

    Eitherway its a close to 4 on there(3.92). You only buy 4 packs of beers rated a 5 for 20 dollars is what you're telling us?

    It is a good fuckin BA Stout at 20 bucks for a 4 pack. Literally less than what IPA 4 packs cost nowadays

    In my circles we call that good mussar. Separate note: I don't drink IPAs, so I certainly don't buy 4-packs.

    In any event, I will report back, but it will be a bit. New beers go to the bottom of the list.
