What beer are you drinking now? #3576

I’ve never seen this beer in my neck of the woods, so happy to throw in my cart. I hear it’s not what it once was, but doing me solid at the moment. I’ve got a West Coast IPA on deck, that one I’ve had and loved. Happy f-n Friday, BAs! Have yourself a spectacular weekend!

 

Because it's Friday a 3rd Pilsner is due. Impressed by the cleanliness of this Schell's beer. Prost!

 

The wife and I are both off tomorrow and can sleep in together, that happens about once a month due to work unless we're out of town. Staying in tonight so a couple Screwball shots will be just fine. DF 90, put it in the freezer and it's perfect for me now.

I took today off and spent half of it on errands and chores, but also showed my kids Men In Black for the first time which they seemed to like I’ve been binge watching season 1 of Stranger Things with my daughter who I think is ready for it and she seems to really like it. This is a weird beer between the Beavis reference and the fact that it’s a cross between and IPA and a cream ale. I suspect by what I am investigating that they dry hopped a cream ale. It’s interesting.

Moving right along… Not used to the 12 oz pounders these days. This is really good. I remember it being really great. But alas, much has changed in our great big world since I last had this beer.

Going to a wedding tomorrow made me think of this fine love song.

On draft at Cozy’s Dockside in Southport , Maine poured into a pint glass, translucent golden liquid, pencil thin white head , some lacings

Aroma is clove

Taste is clove

Smooth, clean , crisp



Good beer, chased it down with a dozen Darmascotta oysters
