I checked about 2 minutes into the sale and there were a little over 500 packages. I expect someone here has a more accurate count though

I saw 775ish packages about 40 seconds after start.

I did not! Maybe it was some technical glitch or maybe I'm mistaken (very possible), and they pulled them because their feelings were hurt about the lack of an instant sellout (lol).

3 of their lasts 9 posts on IG over the last week were about the availability of the 2-bottle package.

Only one actual post about the full package, today, and the email last night.

I wouldn’t say it was heavily advertised, but who’s counting.

    Water on everybody!

Welp. My bad lol. Everyone please disregard me. I usually am on the lookout for "SIDE PROJECT BARLEYWINE/STOUT" releases that allow for online purchase and then securing a proxy but don't tend to notice the on-site availability (because I figure that kind of stuff sells out instantly), so this sounds like it's just my mistake.

I'm getting FOMO for not pulling the trigger on the set today. But my fridge or wallet couldn't take another 4 bottle set

I am guessing Achromatic Vibes, Anabasis, and countless sours sitting around is going to push the business team to start looking into distribution and more Tavour sales.

It feels like Side Project is no longer the mom & pop craft brewery that ran releases out of their garage and sold out of most everything immediately. Sadly (or maybe not sadly depending on how you look at it), it seems they have outgrown St.Louis / online sales and will start looking outward to increase sales.

They are the most expensive brewery in the US by I think any metric you use. If not, they have to be top 5. I think they outgrew STL awhile ago, but they didn’t outgrow online sales until they decided to increase prices/packages at a rate that exceeded demand given the supply that exists.

Good substitutes do exist, and they are easier to get in a post-COVID landscape than ever before.

Their supply (across all the beers, not just amount of a single beer) is so great that people are hitting pay-walls trying to buy everything they want. That would be less true without the packages, but it would still be coming down the road.

The year is 2022. Anabasis is officially a shelfie.

Imagine saying that a few years ago.

The beer is still good, but I can get stouts I enjoy nearly as much at a fraction of the cost. SP quality isn’t light years ahead like it used to be, and when I’m not forced to buy additional beers I don’t want to get the beers I do, it changes the equation. I’ve bought for the longest time, and now I’m passing more than I ever thought I would, to save money for releases from other memberships.

So this was the first time I was going to attempt to buy online, so forgive my newb question because I didn't notice but not sure I was looking; how do you see the bottle count remaining?

When you add a bottle or package to the cart you can manually change your amount in the cart to a high volume (i.e. 1,000 units, 2,000 units, etc.), but the cart will reset with the bottle/package amount remaining (so long as your high volume number exceeds the amount that is still available).
